How to-JL Jeep Sun Visor Repair / Replacement Options

In this video I share sun visor repair & replacement options and show you how I fixed my visor. I also show a product by TACCOM that will prevent your visor from falling. It may also prevent it from breaking but time will tell! I receive no compensation from TACCOM for using their product. I paid for it myself and I’m happy to give a no BS opinion of how it’s working.

To find the clips, search for TACCOM Heavy Duty Sun Visor Clips or the hook version by omitting HD . Beware the ripoff and cheaply made Chinese version. They are not made by TACCOM.

The right visor was sourced through Allmoparparts.com.

If you’re a member of jlwranglerforums.com, you can private message them there and Benny can give you a discount code. I believe it’s 5% off.

I said piece or pieces way too often in this video. lol Thanks for watching!

Awesome job, ty! I’ll be doing that today on my 2021 JLUR. Visor slides in and out, longated. I wonder if sliding it out 1/8 inch clears driver side mount bracket edge?

On my 2020 Galdiator Mohave, I didn't have to remove my freedom panels to access the top two screws on the roll bar cover. The top two scres are mounted at a slight angle that allows access without taking the freedom panels off. (Good thing for me, because I have roof rack bars and a 10' solid paddleboard on my top!) Also, I tried the lock ring repair, but it didn't work for me. The lock ring I have isn't big enough on the outer diameter to stay on top of the mounting bracket: it just falls through the hole. I have ordered the replacement bracket to secure the visor from the bottom side. Thanks for the video.

Luckily my Jeep Wrangler doesn't have any electrical to the visors. 😀 yay

Yup and I broke it!

Do you have a link to where you got the new visor?
