Can you please help me? I have a 98 Grand Cherokee LAREDO. and I want to
replace my tail lights with aftermarket (different than stock design) tail
lights. and everywhere I look for different tail lights, they say that they
wont fit on LAREDO models but will fit LIMITED models. can you please
explain why you think this is the case or as to what is different on a
LIMITED and a LAREDO in the tail light department.. please and thank you

Hey great video. I have a 1996 Grand Cherokee. If your break light bulbs
are not burned out, but not comming on when you are breaking, and your
break light in the lift gate does come on when breaking is this a
electrical problem or a fuse problem?

1A Auto Parts says:

Any bulb at you local auto parts store would be fine.

jrobb06 says:

Wiring…is there a video where u can show that problem?

1A Auto Parts says:

If you are having an issue with the brake light and the plate light, you
may have a wiring issue. There’s vehicles are know for their wiring issues
as the vehicle gets older. Normally a ground wire will be the cause. You
can check each connection for power and work your way up from there if you
do no have power going to the connection.

1A Auto Parts says:

Unfortunately something like this, we would not have a video of. If it is
out of your range of ability, you could always have a mechanic check
everything and do the repair yourself if they go into detail what the issue
is.

1A Auto Parts says:

We sell the stock style which fit both packages. Not sure what may be
different on the custom style ones.

Caterider says:

I changed my bulbs and the front of the jeep said the taillights were out
but they worked just fine.

Thanks for watching.

i suck with cars, i once broke two headlights while trying to fix one,
don’t ask me how, but these videos have been a great deal of help, thank you

1A Auto Parts says:

@runawaysoul1 Try changing the bulbs with a new one. I had the same problem
on an explorer. Bulbs LOOKED good but they were not. If it is not the bulbs
then yes look at the fuse, could also be your switch.

jrobb06 says:

I’m having trouble with the third brake light and the one that highlights
the plates….my bro says its the fuses for the lights how can I find the
problem and fix? I will create a small clip and place it in my videos if u
do not know what I mean….

Joe Garcia says:

how do you get the bulb out just pull? mine may be corroded seems tough but
dont wanna break

1A Auto Parts says:

@xRoAcHx420 Each socket has a tab that you press in and then you turn the
socket about 60 degrees and pull the socket and bulb out. Then the bulb
should just pull from the socket.

1A Auto Parts says:

You could check the sockets and the wiring with a test light to see at what
point you loose the power to the tail lights. You may also want to test the
brake light switch. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393

Thank you for making a great web source for us. i have a 93 grand Cherokee,
the rear brake light was out, i had a spare light pulp so when i changed it
now all the brake lights are not working. Changed the fuse still not
working but the weird thing is reverse light and signals are working fine
including the headlights front. The wiring under the wheel is fine, have to
check the socket i guess but i don’t have much knowledge about that tough.
Would you be able tell me what might be the problem?
