2001 same problem

Rarrrrrr says:

Nice, yeah i got the same car and same problem, how long did it take to
fix? thanks

tskerese says:

I have a 96 Cherokee with the same problem, this fix looks like the best
way I’ve seen yet. That cluster of wires that run to the door was always to
tight to sneak another wire in; coat hanger with a new wire should do the
trick. Thanks for posting!

uk2usa says:

Thanks bro! I have a 2000 Cherokee XJ and have the same problem driver
side, as well as both speakers in the rear doors. Going to try this
tomorrow!

Tim Polak says:

YES! Would love video for fixing passenger side front speaker

darklight5280 says:

So my XJ has the same problem except the driver side rear speaker doesn’t
work as well, does that speaker wire tie in to those harnesses there as
well? Or does that run separately? I’ve had this problem for about 5 yrs
now and am finally starting to go crazy only hearing anything from the
right side haha

Tim Polak says:

I used this fix for my driver’s door and it worked great. Now months later,
the passenger door is doing it too. Is it the same fix on that side you
think?

Jameson Bond says:

What gauge speaker wire is that?

Passtschon says:

Will do, thanks!

Alex Thomas says:

Check my other Videos Tomorrow! I am uploading the video to fix that right
now!

I have the same problem but instead of front/rear driver speaker. I have
the rear passanger speaker doesn’t work. I even went out & bought a new
speaker for it but still nothing, not even static.

mackowhack says:

Thank you!! I’ve had the same problem with my 2000 Jeep Cherokee for a
while now and this was a great help fixing it. Only problem now is my power
window switches are shorting out too.

Passtschon says:

@bluhuptie Yes you should 🙂 I just fixed both my front speakers based on
this video, so thank you. I noticed my passenger window switch doesn’t
work, and when I use the driver’s side switch for the passenger window, the
little green light in the passenger switch goes off, until I let go of the
driver’s side switch, at which point the light comes back on. I’m assuming
there is some weird wiring issue going on here, but don’t really know what
I’m doing. Please post a fix if you have one 🙂

Jameson Bond says:

What gauge is this wire?

Juan Penaloza says:

I have the same problem.. front speakers won’t work from my jeep. Not sure
if it could be speakers, stereo, or the wire damage that every has found.

austin williamson says:

Message me bro actually email me big_guy90@yahoo.com

Zach Decker says:

have you ever had problems with the rear speakers in your jeep? both of
mine in the back just stopped on me. trying to find a way to fix.

Trish Bastone says:

Wow!!! You just saved me a lot of money buddy! Didn’t realize this was a
common issue… THANKS !! Gonna be trying this tomorrow

Alex Thomas says:

@mackowhack I have fixed that too! Should I post the video for that too?
If i get enough votes i will do a video for this too!

darklight5280 says:

Correct. The rear speaker on the driver side of the XJ does not work as
well as the front door speaker on the driver side of the XJ

garrettlicious says:

Please post window video too same problem with both speaker and windows
