There I was thinking my stepmom taught me how to sew.
I know this process all too well. Had that problem on my front doors of my 1097. I fixed them probably twice, and finally when the 3rd time was needed I just decided I wanted to change the truck over to a 4 door (which I wanted anyway) so it was a win win. But I'm still going to fix them again if I need them.
