didn’t remove the gas tank. just becareful.

frantic29 says:

Did you remove the gas tank before welding up that rear panel?

AmeriCIA Tyranny says:

I didn’t know you could get to those frame rails so easily like that.
Real rock crawlers would benefit greatly from boxing that bad boy in and
maybe even adding some gussets here and there, Before boxing it.

AmeriCIA Tyranny says:

OMG is this truck from the Salt Lake City area of Utah? The massive salt
over there KILLS cars. Ive had friends drive there to get good deals on
used cars not putting 2 and 2 together and finding out there is tons of
body work done or needed to be done. Usually the body work done to repair
body cancer in that area is slap dash get it in and out fast type work.

tainterlakeisgreen says:

They also make complete Left/Right floor pans (covers front all the way to
rear, but not cargo area) so you don’t have a gap to weld shut.

Jeux Classik says:

Hi! I wonder if you know where can i purchased de part that we see a 4:12
that de front bolts of the seat bolt on? And whats the name of that piece.
Mine are rusted too so i cant just install new pans…thanks

Chad J says:

How do you install the seats?

Tyler Champney says:

is this the same company that has the ebay store selling xj body panels?

ikingpinikp says:

Thanks alot. I will start my collection.

munnday86 says:

Yes same company

munnday86 says:

all lower plastic needs to be removed from the interior. Buy black paint to
paint the bare metal and fresh weld spots. and some undercoating for the
bottom of the floor pans once installed.

munnday86 says:

Maybe a flux core welder TIG/MIG will work.Tools, air chizzle to get under
the floor pans to remove factory spot welds that hold the floor pans in.
Wire wheel to remove rust and reveal new rust free metal to weld. A rust
equalizer royal jelly” rust remover with a paint brush .Some sealer to seal
the floors after welding waterproofing “liquid nail” sealer is good. angle
grinder or cutting wheel to remove rusted floor. remove seats, carpet,
center console and all lower kick panels

I mean items.

cody spencer says:

Thanks for the tips

munnday86 says:

Check eBay. I got my floor pans from there.

Mrjeepguy07 says:

I have just purchased a 93 Cherokee sport and after removing the carpet i
found a crappy patch on the drivers floor pan, as well as a gaping hole in
the passenger side rear pan. I felt hopeless and was ready to junk it but
all the major stuff works like a champ. After watching your video i see a
glimmer of hope for this Jeep. Thanks for posting!! By the way, i don’t
have access to a lift, is it possible to repair these itemp without it? I
would appreciate a response. Thanks again.

Michael Kline says:

do they still have the rear floor pans i went on the site but cant find it
and i need one

jeremy thomas says:

I wouldnt call a 96 vehicle old, but thats some wicked rust, ive got a 05
liberty hope its not the same in 9 years, good job with the tidy repair

munnday86 says:

We welded the seat brackets back in. After the floor pans. Just like OEM

munnday86 says:

We did it all with no lift. Just lifted it up to look at the bottom…

Marty Mar says:

Bought a couple of Rocker Panel replacements from these guys for my 97 Jeep
Grand Cherokee. Worked perfect. Cut out all the rust, built the inner panel
and welded up the panels that I got from these guys. Saved me a bunch of
dough.

munnday86 says:

Don’t give up hope. you can buy all the floor pans off eBay. Or at c2c
website.

ikingpinikp says:

Yes I also have a 95 that needs this…was removing anything else beside
seats/carpet neccesary? Also what welder would you recommend and tools?
Please thanks like and subsridpbed.
