Not at all. It’s been about 2 years and nothing is coming loose and paint is perfect. It’s not going to come off easy I can tell. Good luck getting yours.

I’m looking for a bug/rock deflector for my ’12 Rubicon Unlimited. This product looks really nice, has it damaged the paint at all around where it’s mounted or come loose at all?

Sorry but I can’t remember which website I ordered the hood stone guard. Try searching around outside Amazon. I hope you find one.

Gives it a really nice look 🙂 Could you tell me where You got this? Looked on Amazon but couldn’t find the same style! TY 🙂

I dont’ think there has been any noticeable decrease in bugs hitting windshield. The adhesive underneath the guard does stick well to the hood. Just let the sun bake it on. I do think this hood guard will hold up on your winter up there. Hope the video helped.

John Matthews says:

So is it functional at all? How well are the bugs deflected? Do you think this would hold up in a wet environment with slush and snow in the winter? Thanks for the vid!

I can see how this would happen if you are like me in thinking that reading instructions only slows you down. In this install, I did take to read due to all the crazy tape maneuvers. My wife did notice later that I ended up sticking hood guard on a quarter inch more to one side but she eventually got used to it. Its not coming off. Enjoy, Tom
