Used this vid to install the rough country 2.5" kit from extreme terrain website…great video in depth had the same issue with the nut washer combo besides that went in with ease thank you
Your video is fine, Oh Musti 1! It's that kit i don't care for… You should have put some spray paint on it as well being in the north. Shame shame! : )
just to let you know Darren. At short line garage in Mahwah they use a stick to go from front inside to to opposite side to set the front end of busses. Then the rear of the tire. You can do the same if you like or a tape measure may cut it… Just a bit of help… Jack
You would think there would be a bolt holding the front spring hats in as well. I'm not fond of this companies lift kit for sure. What happens when you hit a hard pot hole? CLANG!!!
What was that you said about no rust? That has more than i would want for a 2014. Chrysler always sucked for their metal quality. First to rust. gotten worse by looking at the underside of that.
What kind of dweeble welds a nut to a washer, without a bolt through it? Sheesh. Not only it's common sense, but also, heat can deform the nuts, it's better to have one in than to have to cut it out later because the bolt strips its teeth on it. Took me, 2 times to figure that lesson out, years ago.
Mustie,Just one comment,in a shop where I worked we found that while installing metal bushings into rubber grommets,if we used the assembly lube that we used to make up hydrulic hoses, the bushings were easier to install, suspension settled in faster and there was no damage to the grommets.

The gobblers at the end is what I refer to as "a Franklin county traffic jam" (Franklin County Kansas i.e. Rantoul Kansas look us up lmao!
Frankly mount this kit on my car would scare me, the damper struts that hold with two spot welding, shock absorber shafts not protect ..
And the springs that seems to me too long compared to the number of turns ….
You love to live dangerously …
And file a complaint against the kits manufacturers …..; )
Hello ,
You should put silicone grease on parts in rubber movement !!
