Try ctrl+fn+F3. You can access the keyboard with the dock, even in OS X
Mavericks.
When the kernel panic happened the second time, the string of
near-profanity was awesome!
Ya know, I highly doubt anyone will do similar with XP anytime soon.
Windows 2000 I would love to build a proper retro machine based on, but the
equal to early OS X releases, XP, stuck around too long. I doubt anyone
will ever feel nostalgia for it; only the curious children of my generation
will wonder what was so great about it… which honestly, was nothing.
Enough ranting, AWESOME video Tom, as always!!!
Love It! Keep up the good work with nice old computers :)
21:25 “well basically thats it for this video”… 9 minutes later XD

Your mac pro is having problems eh? Maybe you should take the opportunity
to start the PowerPC challenge (hint, hint.)
I’ve had a g3 tower that had a boot menu
Great video Tom, keep it up mate 😀
I really like how glossy the colours are in the apple logo and progress
bars of order versions of max OS X
Nice video Tom. Would be interesting to see iTunes and iMovie running on
here.
As for your Mac Pro fan… if you can see which fan is causing the issue,
remove it and pull back the sticker on the back. Put a few drops of oil in
the bearings, stick the sticker back and spin the fan a bit using a vacuum
to distribute the oil. That should fix the problem.
You look older with that beard. And nice video Tom :)
nice vid…but what happened to the tidy desk!
Tom can you add me on Skype please. my username is diegotheartist1? you
look so nice
Tom, try to remove only the USB card, because on my G4 it kernel panicked
the computer every boot of an install disk or a version of OS X older than
Tiger!

Tiger, thankyou and plz get back to me :D
If you wanna go super-retro, you should get a copy of the Public Beta.
OHHHHH INTERNET EXPLORER! Haha that’s just silly :)
I never knew Apple used to put ISP advertisements in Mac installers in some
countries…
20:39 Also, we know how far we’ve come just by looking at the apple menu…
Mac OS X Jaguar: “Get Mac OS X Software”
OS X Mavericks: “App Store”
Man,it is hard work to install an older version of OS X,isn’t it
Back in the day when computers didn’t know your address was total
bullshit…ah yeah
I remember uusing this operating system in elementary school
