How are you leak charging? Ctek?
Great video, thank you, will think about this. By the way, another big weight saving is deleting the exhaust back box. A few years back when i had my xkr i did a cat back exhaust delete and fitted quicksilver sports exhaust. I couldnβt believe how heavy the Oem exhaust was. Take care mate.
I noticed that you are going from a 90ah oem battery to a 40ah. Have you noticed any differences? I am trying to decide between the 40ah you have vs a 60 or 80.
Didn't use a buffer battery?
Just a small detail, remember that the car is British so the battery is sitting on the passenger side π
Thanks for the video!
Hi im about to replace a dead battery. Is there any procedure to follow to keep the computer settings etc? Any other advise?
I was wondering about getting a carbon fiber hood. Thatβs a huge piece of metal and that should be wilt lighter too. Going to look into the battery swap too.
Have you had any issues with "charging system faults" since changing the battery out?
missing a trick on weight saving, over 10lbs per corner if you change discs

i hear the OE muffler is 50 – 60 lbs
Great idea, but I may need that weight for my RWD V8 F Type to keep the rear down! Different story on your AWD version.
Great value to save weight!
Nice light weight battery you got there.
Another great video bro! 40 lbs reduction impressive.
