Those bushings look like polyurethane. I installed poly bushes on my XJ40 and the handling improved, less body roll in the corners. I replaced the bushings in the upper and lower arms, sway bar and sway bar link plus the lower shock bushings too. How was the handling after you installed those bushings? Why did they suck?
Don’t buy the ones I bought. They sucked. I forget where I got them, but if I were to do this over again I’d pay a little more and buy OEM bushings from the Jaguar dealer.
Just make sure you buy “real” bushings, not those crappy ones I bought. This job would have been so easy if I had just used genuine Jag parts.

Did the poly bushes increase harshness or road noise at all? I fancy some for my XK8 but don’t want to upset the ride quality.
