as I am still waiting to hear from the solicitors reference the outstanding finance on the car I have been very reluctant to do anything to it in case we have to give the car back. but as it will cost me nothing I thought I would have a bash at the dented in body work that is all along the near side of the car.
today I am concentrating on the rear quarter panel above the wheel that was badly stoved in and looked really bad. I am no expert in panel beating, but I do have a cheap set of workshop hammers and dollies so i am more than happy to have a go at it.
to he honest the results have turned out well. certainly looking better than it did before. I hope tou enjoy the video 😃
Excellent, keep up the great work. I must admit I am starting to like the XF too since we picked one up. Also need new wheels on our one.
hi Simon, nice that there are videos again. It's great how you explain this work.By the way…I've been on the road as a documentary cameraman for over 40 years. it's a great job. Wishing you all the best. Udo
Bloody great result!
Great Vid. If you use Bilt Hamber Korrosol in the bodywork, it will get all the embedded brake dust out. When I bought mine, I thought the bottoms of the doors had paint over spray all over them, but after a couple of rounds and a bit of work with a clay bar, it's now got a mirror shine on it.
HTH.
nice vid cheers. I am having a quiet night in so this was great. have you considered a hot glue dent pulling kit ?
