How to Replace Water Pump On a Jaguar XJ6 Series 3

How to Replace Water Pump On a Jaguar XJ6 Series 3. Your car’s water pump pushes coolant through the engine to keep it from overheating. When the pump isn’t working correctly, or has failed completely, the coolant won’t circulate, and your engine’s temperature will start to climb. That could lead to breakdown of the engine.

Thanks Jesse for the helpful tutorial! I have a 1986 XJ6 with just under 26,000 miles on it. The water pump just started making noise, I'm assuming it's the bearings. I'll be replacing it in a few months once the weather warms up here. It doesn't look like to terrible of a job, but your videos make it look easy.

great video once again Jesse. Hope your new workshop is coming along well. Which holes did you put the longer bolts in to? I lost track of where mine came from.
