Duke of Yorkshire says:

Just a brilliant watch from start to finish. Many thanks for putting this together for us all. You've certainly taken some of the fear out of putting together a partscaster. Cheers, dude!

TJ Nugent says:

What did you show us how you cut the nut further. You had a pack or blades to cut the nut.. What are they called and where did you get that pack?

TJ Nugent says:

The Tele pickups I have installed have springs to mount the pickup to the body.. Also why didn't you just put it into the wood?

TJ Nugent says:

Did you use all Fender parts to make this an original Fender parts but one you put together. Did you use any aftermarket other than the wiring? I believe in clean wiring from a company who does it well. It works and looks so clean.

Iron_Pi says:

I used 3/4” weather stripping from the hardware store. Lol. Great video!

Jacob Bockover says:

I had a thought on your "negative videos do better" thing. Try playing scary background music and red light on your normal posts. Its october so the perfect time to try it out

Running with Scissors says:

Nice build. I like and appreciate the detail you show and narrate. Good, clever idea to use a cushy exercise mat to support and adjust the PuPs. MUCH better and longer lasting think, than foam. I enjoy your videos ~ please keep them coming.

Mr. PinSell says:

I bought the Fender Vintera HH with the same color just for 1,299$ brand new…waaaaay cheaper even if you buy a new set of Fender Jaguar single coils and a pickguard…

weens24 says:

I really like the idea of assembling a guitar myself, but financially vs just buying one from Fender doesn't make sense. Super fun to tinker around and build stuff, but it's worth about 1/2 the sum of the parts in the end. Which is super unfortunate. I loved the video though! I'm living vicariously through your build!

Jetplane says:

How much did the whole build cost you?

Martin Clayton says:

I'd like to get that neck! I've got the vintera 60's modified HH Jaguar in surf green, an I'd like to build another one with that neck. They're great guitars. M

Verse chorus verse says:

I built some shitty off brand guitar from a guitar kit company and it turned out to be real shit with the wood being bad and the neck being all wonky and I wish I had just done this

Chriss Carr says:

cool build!…..you sound just like michael shannon.

Dana says:

I have had an '09 sunburst Jagmaster II since 2010, and it became my favourite guitar almost immediately. (The other electric guitars I owned are an '87 Charvel Model 4, an '03 Epi Gothic Les Paul, and a Jackson Performer PS-1). Although it is a bit of an oddball, I still like it. I recently got a '21 black Squier CV 70's Jaguar. I like it so far. I dunno if it'll overtake the Jagmaster as my favourite or not. I would have preferred a sunburst Jaguar, but decided to go with black to match my son's Squier FSR Mini Jazzmaster. The other reason was that I had to order online, and I don't like how a lot of the Squier bursts end up looking (including my Jagmaster) because of the mismatched chunks of wood. So, if I were building from scratch, I'd want a two-piece (or really well-matched three/four-piece) body done in a burst. I also have a sonic blue Squier CV 60's Jazzmaster arriving tomorrow (wanted olympic white, but the savings was substantial enough to buy a looper pedal, which I've always wanted, so that was the route I took).
I've never built a guitar before, and while it seems fun, I'm a bit of a purist. I don't even want to upgrade parts on my Squiers that I know aren't amazing. I don't even know why. It's a mental block, I guess. That said, I picked up a Hanna Montana Washburn guitar at a yard sale for $10 once, and it's in pieces and the body and headstock are sanded down, waiting for primer. I'm debating sanding the edges of the body to be more rounded, first. Depending how it ends up turning out, I may go ahead and experiment with bridge pickups on it (if the size would work, I'm not even sure… I think it's a 3/4-size guitar).

Justin Velazquez says:

Hey man been watching your videos for 2 years now, I was wondering for the next guitar you make if you can do a Kurt inspired Stratocaster or mustang. Thanks.

2Daze Take says:

I somehow get the feeling that you are a rosewood neck fan Landon, I'm kind of curious about how people gravitate to either rosewood or maple fretboards,I had my introduction to the Tele with a maple neck, when I first bought one, so I'm a maple neck fan,I have a rosewood neck Tele, but I prefer maple, seems like I can play faster on one,I'm just wondering if it has something to do with what neck you tried first, as to what neck you prefer later, what neck was on your first Tele Landon, thanks.

Rajvir Singh says:

The block inlays really look cool on that guitar

vhszach says:

Something about the cadence of your voice and the “stream of consciousness” voiceover style has me feeling like I am watching an episode of “Interdimensional Cable” on Rick and Morty. Highly enjoyed this video haha.

Woje Lechistanu says:

Jag – the best fender ever. I prefer Olympic White. Well done mate

John ZD351 says:

I thought my cousin had a Jaguar, but it actually was a Daimler.

Gustavo Berocan Veiga says:

i recommend the puisheen channel to learn to set up the Jaguar. He argues it needs a shim in the neck and at least 0.11 strings to have the proper tension and avoid the buzzing and the strings popping out of the bidge saddles. It also will help to set the tremolo properly. nice build! cheers!

Gustavo Berocan Veiga says:

22:40 are you sure you were suposed to take the second layer off? i though it was an important plastic protection for the pickguard.
