Sooo if it reads P0430 I have a bad CAT? lol… What if was something else
like a bad coil on plug? I just spent $50 on an new O2 and didn’t fix
anything?…lol Codes don’t tell you what’s wrong dork!
What a waste, everyone knows that in the cars that have digital odometers,
they can move the key from on to acc a few times and the codes will come
up. There is no sense in buying one of those things.
Man i cant take this anymore. its like teaching kindergarten math. Man oh
man i wish it was that easy. Enough with the shameless product promotion. I
dont mean to be a hater, but comeon man.
I went to have my car smog checked.. Result it failed.
Both O2 Sensors needed to be replaced.
My thought was that The car had only ran two miles prior to the check.
I believe the car needs to be ran longer before having them checked.
anyone who can comment on my thoughts . l would appreciate your feedback.
Far be it from me to defend a dealer or car repair shop but having just
replaced 4 on my car they are not all this easy. Not to mention you most
likely don’t have a car lift in your garage so you’ll have to jack up the
car and put it on stands to get the ones under the car. Some of these
sensors cost $50 each. If you have the money just do them all at once. If
they are old…. Older than 80,000 miles they need to be replaced anyway.
No sense doing this four times. If you ask me, the real rip off for me is
the dealer wanted $2,400.00 to replace my catalytic converters. Fortunately
for me the smog guy told me it was most likely the sensors. The awesome
news is my mileage increased 7 miles per gallon. I know, go figure. So much
for air quality. The sensors were old and telling the computer the engine
was running lean and needed more fuel. Good luck.
It is not always as simple as that, codes dont tell U to replace
anything, they only guide.he took a guess at it and didn’t show it
repaired.watch eric the car guy.much better
I have a 2001 honda odyssey check engine come on….is that a problem with
my 02 oxygen senor or catayltic converter…. what if i replace the 02
xygen sensor but i don’t the scanner to reset my check engine is that
okay….let me know. thanks
I hate oxygen sensors. Fuck you oxygen sensors ruining the engine’s fuel
economy and hesitating the performance! always having to replace o2 sensors
when they get dirty makes me want to just get an old car instead because
they usually have carburators and no electrical crap but they look ugly.
Most american and japanese cars are this easy. audis and bmws are a whole
different story, shitty engineering if you ask me. But you know
maintainence is gonna rape your walet before you buy it.
If you havent done this yet, you dont want to use cheap o2 sensors as they
are not as accurate as your factor ones, thus causing problems leading to
less gas mileage and more emissions, those cheap ones you found on ebay are
prob not the best! Only trying to help!

WHAT?? No Anti Seize compound??? Surely you jest. If you do it without
compound, you’re not going to be able to replace it next time.
get a hydraulic jack and jack stands, about 30 bucks for a kit of the jack
and stands. Don’t spend a fortune at a mechanic!
Wait. So Toyota wanted $1500 to change that? I should call and tell them
off..

This man pleases me greatly.
@MrNotorius5500 If you know so much then what the ‘Fuck are you doing
here?’Mr know it all, go make your own videos! Cant stand you haters.
Good info, thanks.

Can I just spray the Oxygen Sensor with a MASS cleaner? I bought a Mass
Airflow Sensor cleaner recently and I still have plenty of it left.
DO NOT PULL ON WIRES!!! Bad video!
O2 sensors are not at all a fatal fault… Not even close… CarMD needs
his license revoked for malpractice…
^this guy comments like he’s 10.
