Valves I think. It is very typical for the Isuzu clan.
whats ticking noise mine does the same thing!
Possum…nice Rodeo. I was doing improvements to mine…sanded and painted
front bumper..took off side mirrors and sanded/painted them gloss
black…took off roof rack and sanded/ painted it. Was looking great..until
4th gear went out. Sold it to a coworker. He got it for his wife, she only
drove on city streets.
Where did you get your lift!? i have a red 1996 and i CANT FIND A LIFT
ANYWHERE! also where did you get your pushbar?
Stop pondering………you should never sell an Isuzu Rodeo. They are one
of the best vehicles on earth. Pain in the butt to work on, but all the
Rodeo’s parts are generallyHEAVY DUTY. Isuzu Rodeeeeoooooo! to the
death!!!!! lol
Carlos…I had a 95’…sold it because 4th gear went out and didn’t want to
shell out 2000. Needed vehicle for work. Had the ticking engine
noise…solved it by using 20w50 oil. Problem solved.
Very nice video, added it to my favorites. I also have a 1997 Rode 4×4
Manual. I noticed your engine makes the same noise as mine. Te famous
ticking or tack noise that sounds like lifters coming from the left side of
your engine. I could hear it more when you put the camera near there. When
did you start getting this noise? Reason I ask is that I just purchased
mine 2 weeks ago and have been trying to get rid of the noise. I thank you

how much you want i love them i to had a red one when i was a few years
younger i loved it but we had to part because in 09 it blew up from a
cracked head and i now have a 2009 dodge charger and i like the rodeo more
a very great car and very strong i realy would like to have this truck
Lift is Calmini. Nothing else exists. You have to order it from then. I
added a link for the brush bar. If is a multi-piece unit and I left off the
top small bar because I didnt like it.
I think I’ll slap on new tires. Trying to decide if I should go more
off-road or more highway. Currently has 265/75 16 and I’m thinking of going
245/75 and hybrid/highway tread.
I have been so busy I havent thought much of my Rodeo other than trusting
my daily life with it. heh. My desire was to buy some modern pocket car so
I could get supreme gas mileage but I have been running numbers and it
seems that you cant really even double the gas mileage of a Rodeo by buying
anything out there. So then you gas bill maybe goes down from $80 to $40
per week and you now have a $250 car note… It just doesnt work on paper.
At any rate, what would I want for my Rodeo? $4500?
