It has 275,000. I don't think the motor would have failed if the owner had kept up with the oil changes and made sure he ran something through it at every oil change to clean out the carbon. It gummed everything up in the motor. Some Seafoam or maybe ran Mystery oil in it. The oil holes in the pistons gum up and make it start using oil also.
