The steps it takes to replace your radio Infiniti G35

The steps it takes to replace your radio Infiniti G35

In this video we show you how to replace the radio in a Infiniti G35. What make this install different is the fact that this car has a factory Navigation screen. The dash kit is not made to work with. that option, so we have to do a little modification to it. Enjoy

I'm electronics engineer and even for me this is a complex and expensive radio install.
I would just buy another car. LOL

ezyeRansburg says:

this is rediculous!

Alosh Ali says:

Does all of these steps go for the '07 models without the navigation screen too??

Super Guero says:

My radio makes a weird ass noice so i took the fuse off cause it drains my car battery aswell if i buy this you think it will stop draining my battery and btw i took it to fix and i think they just wired what ever

Will says:

Awesome video guys! I'm thinking about doing this instal to my g35! I was wondering, how does this aftermarket install compare to the sound quality of the factory boss system? Also, using the PAC LP5-4 4-Channel Line Output Converter you didn't mention the hookup for the subwoofer amp? Is the subwoofer hooked in a different way? Thank you

DoPe iDrifterrz says:

My brother has the exact car and he has a pioneer avh-2300nex with 2 kicker comps

DoPe iDrifterrz says:

I have those socks

KillerZero259 says:

Greta job guys! Terrible shame that the G35 is an automatic, however

Conan Seibel says:

A shitload of steps, thatโ€™s how many…8 hours in the driveway, but I did run wire for an amp too.

Chevon Brown says:

How much this whole installation cost with labor?

Fredy Castillo says:

So the gps works?

Uriel Maldonado says:

I remember my first g35…. sucked.

Andrew Dopson says:

Have you ever removed the gear shifter knob on the 2017 hyundai ioniq?

kelvin lopez says:

i own a 06 g35 how much did the parts cost? the trim for a new radio is like 300 from what i looked up a couple months ago

Josh Ortiz says:

How would this install differ from a single din pioneer unit . I bought one for my g35 and haven't installed it mainly because I don't want to cut the wrong wires . It has the purple green white and grey rcas and he original harness , would I still have to get the 4 channel output converter seeing that is probably the easiest way to install on these cars. All help is appreciated!

Cheezy Dee says:

First look at that steering wheel cover and I would have run for the hills.

james craghead says:

You guys are awesome

james craghead says:

So don't buy a g35

Tim Daniels says:

Wow, i wish I found your video first it was very helpful and I wouldn't have cracked the top dash bit
thank you ๐Ÿ™‚

rcp9ty says:

I remember looking at g35's a couple years ago when I wanted a different car… then I saw the price of JDM double din kits before Metra and Scosche had kits that were decent… ended up not buying the G35… so yeah glad you're doing this install and not me ๐Ÿ˜›

2nsane2005 says:

Great video fellas! I literally just did a Pioneer double din install in my buddies G35 a few days ago so I know every step you guys took to install it ha ha! I honestly just went with the first harness you showed w/o the RCA's. You're right about the volume being loud by volume level 10 or so, but it really does sound great still. I would recommend using it to anyone.

For anyone that is thinking about doing a double din install in their G35 the Metra kit is a great kit and fits very nice and looks really once its in. Only thing I will say is make sure to take off the cig lighter panel as well as the opposite panel too. You will fight with putting the kit back in if you don't. It'll get hung up on the vent!

fat catt 39 says:

benjamin bernstein says:

Demario Burrell says:

sirgozer says:

Me – "Hey Joe, what did you do this weekend?"
Joe – "Well, I installed a new radio in that G35 I just bought."
Me – "Oh, I saw the for sale sign on the windshield, why would you put a new radio in it before you try to sell it?"
Joe – "When I say that I installed a radio, I mean; I'm pretty sure I traveled through a few of the 9 circles of hell."
Me – "Bad huh?"
Joe – "I really don't wanna get into it."
Me – "What's in that box on the ground next to the car?"
Joe sobbing – "Broken interior parts, broken radio, broken A/C panel, 3 boxes of used bandages…" then, much quieter, "my dignity"
Me – "Holy shit man….but why would you sell it?"
Joe – "Because FUCK NISSAN! It's just a radio! Its. Just. A. Radio."

That was the last time we saw Joe. Some say he wanders the desert like some weird kung-fu master, others say he's in an insane asylum.
All I know is: I just wish Joe had seen this video before he went crazy trying to put in a radio….a…radio…
We all miss him. Well… his hot wife doesn't miss him as much as the rest of us do.

Moral of this story? Don't buy G35's kids, they ruin lives.

Cris Villalta says:

Awesome video like always, stay safe you guys

theripper121 says:
