Can this cause a crack, no start? My mazda tribute has been giving me this
issue since last week. I thought I fixed it when I replaced starter,
battery, spark plugs (I went ahead and did simple maintenance while I had
it apart and changed the oil, oil filter, and valve cover gaskets since I
noticed oil in the spark plugs). So now it did it to me again after a few
days of working properly. And already watched “Fixing A Car That Cranks But
Doesn’t Start Up” like 6 times…
Can anyone help?
Hey Scott, i have a 02 g20. It cranks but wont start, i tryed some starter
fluid but still no start n it doesn’t seem to be getting any spark, i
bought some new spark plugs but still nothing. Can crank sensor be the
problem. Any advice would be helpful thanks
the car throw the code P0015 this morning. Is it because my exhaust crank

Scott, I have a 03 Mustang GT AUTOMATIC. Sometimes, (like once a week) my
car dies out of nowhere. It doesnt make any sound, nor starts hesitating.
It just truns off out of nowhere. I rapidly put it on park and crank it
right up with NO problem and continue my day. Sometimes it turns off when I
put the gas to go, or while I’m holding the break.
Hey scotty i have a 95 dodge intrepid 3.5L and im getting no spark from the
ignition pack and i just bought it today it worked then stopped after two
mins started and stopped again this has been happening for a while. the car
stalls while driving i wait a hour or so and it will drive again ( but
never know how long) and i just got a new fuel pump also. if you have any
ideas please let me know im out of my own.
Hey scotty so I changed my fuel pump and im getting fuel pressure and spark
but engine wont start so if leave key on to build pressure the engine
starts real quick then turn off any pointers.(I checked all fuses n relays)
hi scotty, i have a 99 tahoe that is hard to start but runs really well
once started, i’ve changed fuel filter, and did the MPI fuel spider upgrade
hoping that would be the fix. it still acts as though its firing on the
wrong plug during starting. i’ve had the intake plenum off several times,
once just to make sure i had the new injectors in the right spot. i read
on a tahoe forum that the crank pos sensor may cause it, and it made sense
to me. it has 180,000 miles on it and i plan to change the plugs, dist
cap, rotor and plug wires as they are all overdue. i also am not getting a
check engine lite and have not had it checked for any codes. any thoughts

fuel filter & the fuel pump module. After all of that I drove to work and
when I came out to go home it wouldn’t start. it hasn’t turn on since do

Hi Scotty, I have a 2001 Oldsmobile Aurora 3.5 and it’s throwing a 1372
code. Crankshaft position sensor B Correlation error. Is this the same as
the 0335 code and could this mean something else is wrong? Great vid and

Im trying to find this sensor on my 2006 f 150 4.6 liter 2whd. It has the
check engine light on. It dies at stop signs or when I come to a stop. It
will start back up instantly. Its throwing this code. The computer says
crank pos sensor. Now I have to find it and change it. Can the sensor be
cleaned, or is it best to replace it?

SCOTTY HELP! I just bought a 2004 monte carlo and i was driving it home
from the dealership and all the audden the check engine light came on (not
blinking) and the car was running really bad and now it starts but after

Hey Scotty im a big fan my 2001 chrysler town and country does not read
codes when hooked up to the diagnostic it says check car manual ? Cant
figure if its my car cam or crank shaft
say Scotty my 97 chevy truck has a p0300 code rapid misfire and the report
says there are some things to check as to why EGR valve stuck open I
checked and no problem with it PCV system has a leak I checked all vacuum
hoses all good I might have 2500 to 3000 miles since I replaced plugs wires
cap & rotor. it also says EVAP system problem canister is fuel saturated
and least but not last crankshaft position sensor . The Truck runs just
fine No misses no shakes nothing. so whats your thought.

motor 2 yrs ago and he said then it would be a temp fix do you think this

having the same problem rough idle speed but it goes fine when I accelerate
I want to change the crank sensor I believe it’s located under the oil
filter but I don’t want to remove the wrong sensor you know if this is the
location and if a bad crank shaft sensor would cause the engine to run
rough like that
Hi Scotty I have a Honda Civic 2001 and it does not start. I took it to the
mechanic and he said that it has a problem with a sensor, he didn’t mention
which sensor. So I’m wondering if it is the Crankshaft Position Senor.
Where would the Crankshaft Position Senor be on a Honda Civic 2001?
Have a 97 tacoma that will cold start and run until it warms up.. then it
will die out and not start and throw the p0335 pending code. Replaced the
sensor as well as a grip of other things maybe a month or two prior to this
issue coming up.
After I bought this concorde 94 by 2 days I tried to start but didn`t work
the car starts for just seconds then shuts down on its own even if I push
gas pedal, after several tries and about 45 minutes the car worked like
nothing is wrong every thing was going fine. This error happened many times
it starts for just 1 or 2 seconds it turns off from its own. I went to the
mechanic but he said he can`t figure out anything and he checked every
thing was very good. Then I left it with him overnight so he can check what
is wrong. He told me fuel pressure and pump were good, but ignition spark
and injector signal gets weak in intensity causing the car not to work. He
suspects either Hall effect sensor cam position sensor or crank position
sensor and / or pcm. Now I can`t afford changing these parts as he said it
would cost at least 700$. Any idea is this error could be caused due to
something else? Is it progressive, I mean is it possible that one day the
car won`t work forever?
Please note that when the car is working there is nothing wrong with it.

dont work at all it doesn’t move, it doesn’t affect any on the car power
