Will do.

I would first check the condition of the transmission fluid. Make sure it’s not burnt or dark color. If it is, change the fluid. I have a video up showing how to replace the fluid. If the fluid looks ok, check to see if you have any engine codes. The drop resistor usually throws off code p0745. Other components that could effect shifting is the vehicle speed sensor and throttle position sensor. But again, usually you’ll have an engine trouble code for these sensors. Let me know what turns up.

its a 2000.

CarsNToys says:

What year is your Maxima?

Patrick Keigher says:

Could it be my drop resistor??

Patrick Keigher says:

hate asking this but .. my maxima is shifting late to second gear.. took it in to trans guy .. he was clueless. Have you any idea what else besides trans would cause to shift hard to second .. btw only when gassing it kinda hard .. any help would be appreciated.
