This video will show you step by step on how to install new brake pads on Infiniti QX80 DIY Brake job Front Brake Pads – See Parts – Tools list below – bottom of this description. You do not need to fast forward with this video… I edited it as such. Fast Forwarded all where I can (during bolt on / bolt off / lubing,/ etc…) Installation of Bendix Ceramic Brake Pads easy to follow
A few installation notes
There are 4 bolts that need to come off:
Torque Settings for those 4 bolts
122 lbs (2 bolts) Pads Bracket aka Torque member = use 18 mm socket
53 lbs (2 bolts – Cylinder Body – Pistons Assembly – Caliper Assembly) = use 17 mm socket

Tools Used:
17 mm Socket
18 mm Socket
Ratchet / Breaker Bar / Torque Wrench
New Pad Spreader (due to a recent move, I cannot find my red screw-on type spreader)
Plus items above – brake cleaner, CRC high temp grease, Bendix ceramic brake pads

1. Lossen up all lug nuts but do not take them off
2. Jack up the car – flat even ground
3. Use properly rated jacks – SAFETY!
4. Remove lug nuts and tires
5. Remove 2 Bolts holding the caliper assembly – pistons assembly
6. Remove Break Pads
7. Remove All Brackets
8. Remove 2 more bolts Brake Pad bracket Holder al Torque member
9. Remove Rotor – get it machined aka turned or Replace with a new pair
10. Clean all with Brake Cleaner
11. Grease Guide Pin aka Sliding Pin
12. Replace the Sliding Pin Boot
13. …Reverse process for re-installation 9. 8, 7, 6,…
