Drew Fenwick says:

Vlad awesome tutorial – thanks for figuring it all out… OEM cams are $600.00 – Rediculous!

The OEM trim piece you bored into costs $400 or so – not wanting to destroy that and always worried about drilling holes into anything over the gravitational flow of water especially over metal body parts hidden under trim concerns me.

I found this solution – a backup Cam with night vision and Directory Tracking lines mounted into a waterproof replacement Licence plate lamp lens assembly. It should fit either of the 2 standard on our rides. Comes with all the cables for just under 20$. I am offering the link to amazon where it is available for those wanting to know.

They claim it will fit all INFINITI G35 G37 and cheaper cousin Nisssan. I am ordering one and will let you know if it fits an 09 G37x..

No holes – No water- No worries is worth the extra $10.00 bucks to me!

Great video, you inspired me to add a backup camera to my 2008 infiniti G35. Your instructions worked like a charm, I used a different camera ( mounted to license plate) no issues at all and my B/U camera works fine. Thanks again, next project will be the steering wheel and arm rest painting.

Chris Tiller says:

How does the camera do in the dark? I have tinted windows and can’t see anything at night.

Arthur Margarian says:

One thing I'd add to this video is that removing the back seat on the driver side makes it much easier and all you have to do is remove two nuts at the bottom, pull the bottom a bit forward and pull the seat up.

Ahtesamul Haque says:

What do you think I should if when my video cables are connected. No video appears on my screen. It’s just the plain grey “aux” screen

Ahmad Ali says:

Man if I could like this video again I would!

Anthony Avila says:

Does it play music from the other aux plugs while the camera is on?

Ahtesamul Haque says:

Could you help me with how to give power to the camera. How do I connect it to the brake lights? Thank you
