Technically speaking, yes – it is generally advised to disconnect the
battery, however, since this is a power flush and not a manual flush, those
circuits won’t be activated. In order for any of those units to be affected
you would have to be flushing in a way that would include pressing the
brake pedal. I’ve been power flushing without disconnecting the battery for
years and I’ve never ran into any issues.
