For vehicles with electronically controlled timing, a camshaft position sensor relays important information to the computer to ensure the engine is running properly. A bad sensor may relay incorrect or no information, resulting in poor running conditions and trouble codes. This video shows you how to install a new camshaft position sensor in your 2003-2007 Infiniti G35.

Great Video, My Question is should I sell my 2008 Infiniti M35 with ( 1. CAMSHAFT Sensor Seals Replacement, 2. Rear Main Seal Leaking, 3. Multi Oil Leaks, and 4. Service Engine Soon Illumating when the oil is low ) The car has 160,000 Miles. The Book Value is $2,300. My question is does it make sense to keep the car and repair these issues?

Alexander M says:

So, trying to figure out if my knock sensor is the issue for my RPMs not going past 3 RPMs while accelerating or this

Johnnycanread says:

Nice, straight forward and simple. Thanks!

stovis says:

Thanks, but would have been better if you could have filmed the bolt being removed, etc. I checked it out, but on my car, there wasn't enough room for me to get a socket wrench in there. I have no idea how you managed to do it.

n r says:

how do know if you have to replace them both or just one ?

Richard says:

very good video. one comment on Bank 2 (driver side) sensor, the connector is different than Bank 1 (passenger side). The connector on Bank one has a tab you have to depress while pulling. there is no sliding lock.

other than that, and easy replacement doing it by feel.

Ziad Hassan says:

Was this bank 1 or bank 2 that u did?

Roy Doobay says:

Where can I buy the camshaft sensor other than the dealer?

destroes__ 15 says:
