Its a good thing I sold it and got into a better car. That is the problem
with 5-10 year old luxury cars all the thug wannabees start to be able to
afford them and before you know it your seeing a lux sedan with lambo doors
and rent a rims everywhere. it happens to Cadillacs, Lincoln, Jag, and now
Infiniti.
I had the 2002 in late 02. I bought it with 800 miles on it. I recently
sold it with 120K on odometer. I now have a 2009 M45. The I35 was most
reliable car and never had an issue, just regular maintenance.
@ezlayed Yeah, if you own a Nissan/Infiniti car or truck before the year
2006, the steering wheel controls are not illuminated. You have to buy 2006
and up for that feature. My friends 1997 pontiac grand prix has illuminated
sttering wheel controls so, it can’t be that expensive to do. I don’t know
why it took until 2006 for even infiniti to have them?
I’m sorry, it was 2006 for nissan & 2005 for infiniti. The 05′ G35 has
illuminated controls, the 05′ Maxima does not. The 2006 Maxima does though.
Either way, it should have been even on the 2000 cars.
If you own an Infiniti you don’t really neet to think abour spare parts…
They all have excellent reliability scores! The parts may get expensive if
you order them through a dealer! If you know how to find them on the
Internet… they are not that expensive!
Well it is a reliable car,but that doesn’t mean that you have to be like my
neighbor. He thinks that he never has to spend a penny for his honda. Which
is as stupid as it gets. You have to be aware, that there is no car which
can run 200K miles without any maintenance on it. If your car has 100K
miles or more on it, you have to spend at least 500-700$ per year to keep
the car in good shape. Oil changes, spark plugs, belts, filters, breaks,
wax for the paint, cleaners for the interior and ets.
Wish you had more videos up of this car 🙁
