Compress the piston in using the old brake pad next time.

M Wes says:

Props to you man as I don't even know why you have low followers on IG or Twitter. People are stupid as you'd think hearing and learning from a confident DIY guy they'd subscribe to learn more…..like me. Just followed you on Twitter dude. Thanks for putting out good stuff. #Cheers

whats up with the porn music tho?

Lynn Haley says:

Do I have to bleed the brake when changing the pads?

talamook says:

Good job. At the start, I would pop the hood and open the brake fluid reservoir and wrap a rag around it. Sometimes when you push the caliper back in, it will overflow and you don't want that to happen, or you can suck a little bit of fluid out of the reservoir with a syringe so it doesn't overflow and top it off when you are done.

Great Tutorial, i want to replace mines too and my discs are really rusty but im not sure about it .
I live in europe and the nissan dealers dont have parts for the car so they are offering similar discs, but indont want to buy junk how much should discs cost on average? Maybe consider a us import?
It really sucks that no dealer has no original parts for your car…

Pektra Mom says:

I recommend to square file the seats where the brake pads shims go as u want them to be as clean as possible so the shims dont get tight on the pads due to the accumulated rust. Both slide pins should be lubricated with easy slide/sillicone based lubricant and not anti seize. Anti seize will damage the boots and will absorb corrosion inside. Most dealers will flip the caliper and never take out the top slide pins and cause the pin to rust and seize inside the bracket..thats why these floated calipers go bad. Just my 2 cents..

Question, my '03 G35 makes noise when I turned on my AC, sort of like a rattle, gargle sound, do you think my compressor is about to go?

bigwass42 says:

great tutorial, i have to the rear rotors on my g35 this weekend… but i was curious why there was an extra hole on the rotor… but i guess there is no reason for the extra hole… maybe weight reduction… thanks again!!

JC says:

hey man what rotors are those? i need a pair

Des M says:

Aluminum don't rust it shouldn't have iron in it but to check if it's aluminum just use a magnet

SeverLess says:

Awesome content. Can you guys do a vid on replacing door lock actuators considering they go out fairly often in early G coupes?

Javi Lancillo says:

these are the type of mechanic I would trust and want to work with my 04 infiniti g35 coupe…

jaguar alegre says:

bro nice job thanks

scorpion tt4 says:

what size has these rotors ?

sagemodenaruto07 says:

Ahhhhhhh! Just what I needed!!! Thank you sir!!!!

Nate Bee says:

Would this be a similar task to changing out the brakes and rotors on a 350z? Thanks for the video!

Daniel De Groff says:

hate to bother you on the g 35 cooling issue

The hose running from the overflow tank to the radiator is missing one of the clamps. Would that be enough to keep it from going back into the radiator?

Daniel De Groff says:

Bro, I got a 2005 g 5 coop and I got. The overflow reservoir filled and it won't drain back into the radiator. Not overheating but not blowing heat, either, which is no big deal im in south Texas.

Why doesn't the coolant return back to the radiator? Its only God 72000 miles on it don't tell me it's a headgasket

SuperNovah says:

helps a lot… very informative. and the video is very clear, no shakiness and there's actually somebody holding a camera instead of the person doing the repair and doing the filming.
Please do more videos like changing out fluids and proper bleeding of fluids etc.

Jesus Nunez says:

Really goo video! thanks for the great content

Alejandro Hector Guillen says:

i would of never known this information. and I have a g35
