2017 Infiniti Q50 Turbo Replacement

#infiniti #q50 #turbo #vr30ddtt
to replace the turbos on these vehicles the entire drive train has to be removed from the vehicle. it is not as difficult as you may think. I don’t actually show the replacement of the turbos cause if you make it that far changing out the turbo is easy. getting to them is the part you need to know

As a former mechanic, I didn’t see one turbo get replaced

Very Simple and Understandable

What's the sign the turbo is broken

@frictionless8726 says:

How much dose a turbo replacement cost ? Looking. At getting one wanna be prepared on the rebuild or new turbo cost

@clee6746 says:

That sounds like the turbo is not meant to be serviced. Older Infiniti with natural asperated V6 is way easier to service.

@scooter9914 says:

Jesus Christ! After watching that I want to sell my car now lol.

@brrrrrrrrrr808 says:

@briankress9997 says:

What happened to the turbos to get them replaced?

@angelogotrice says:

Nightmare and why does such a young car need both turbos ? Nice car but unless I was rich I would never.

@DRBauto says:

did u have to use the exhaust temp sensor, mounted on the turbo? The new updated turbo does not have a port for those temp sensors. Do i have to update ECM or just calibrate wastegate is good enough?

@escotavo5049 says:

How much to swap turbos ??

@james5274 says:

Save yourself some time and the headache of bleeding the charge air cooler system by unclamping and removing both charge air coolers from the throttle bodies and hoses to the turbo outlet and simply flipping them forward to lay upside down on top of the front bumper. No need to disconnect the coolant hoses to them.

I have a 2010 G37X with 265,000 miles on it, not a day of trouble, When it falls apart I will salute it. Quick as hell, why don't they keep it simple.
