Jomel Sagsagat says:

I recently installed the same intakes on my 37 and i noticed there’s like A
buzzing sound when I pop up the hood and listen carefully. What do you that
causes that noise ? Is it normal?

jnagime says:

Car looks nice, but to me you got 2 much fog lights, lol this is the best
intake for the G37,but this is safe for a raining day?

kenny rene says:

Question, did you install the exhaust system when this was done or were the
pipes still stock at this time? What were your gains like?

ssj4david says:

Got a question here. Interested in getting a G37, with intakes like these,
but how do you replace the air filter without taking the front of the car
apart?

Penny Maribojoc says:

hey i really like ur lights are those after market? both headlights and
tail lights? where can i buy them? and how did u color ur rims to black
what did u use! pls reply to me!

Keepinitclean says:

@drsnyp i gotta ebay one for my cb7 and its just great!

Michael Miller says:

WHO DID YOUR HEADLIGHTS BRO

VietYa09 says:

@MikeTuanNguyen I did not tune my engine. But after the gen 3’s were
installed, my engine was definitely more lean and it was even more amazing
with the HKS exhaust. for breather mods, i’m actually not sure what that
is, can you give me a quick summary of what they are?

VietYa09 says:

@FlockaFlame69 Hey there, the tail lights i used a tint spray and taped off
the shape i wanted, for the head lights i ordered a precut vinyl kit from
blubatmobile guy, just google it. Hope this helps!

airman20012001 says:

only thing is, I would have left the bumpers alone, stock they look good. I
have same car really like it. every thing else is nice

mbciptr says:

Very tastefully done on the g! Can I ask where you got your 8000k hid
lights at? I found some on eBay and was a little skeptical about it
matching my stock bulbs… Are they difficult to switch out … The other
day I took a peak under the hood and couldnt find direct access to the
lights.

VietYa09 says:

@ariafreak Yea i got my air intakes for around 550 shipped. FOr my mods, i
tinted my tail lights with a special spray on tint with the GTR design. I
have a carbon fiber front lip, carbon fiber rear diffuser, and carbon fiber
trunk. For my headlights i have custom projector HID fogs 3000k, my low
beams and in housing fogs have 8000k HIDs. I also have a smoked overlay for
the headlight too. Lastly my stock 19’s are powdercoated wet black (not the
cheap painting that people do)

ddemantos says:

I read on a site some guy took the splash guards off of his filters for
even greater air flow. I dont think I would take that risk on my vq37 .

VietYa09 says:

@ddemantos Unless the flooding goes all the way up to your grill then i
feel that you would be fine. I did say in the video that theres a splash
guard that goes in front of the air filters. I live in Virginia, and its
rainy season right now for us, and I’ve been completely fine on the
heaviest of rain. I think that you would be ok getting these intakes. And
trust me, they sound a lot better in real life compared to the video . I
hope this helps, let me know if you have any other questions.

drsnyp says:

Hey again… As far as acceleration and highway pick up, do you feel a
difference from stock intake?

VietYa09 says:

@drsnyp I feel that this is the only part that gives u a good kick out of
what you pay from Stillen. All the other Stillen parts tend to be
overpriced for performance mods that are just slightly better than stock. I
do like Injen, its a really good intake too. I just personally like the
engineering of this Stillen intake better. And it gives a much more
aggressive tone when you drive. Hope this helps

Aj Doe says:

Hey what kind of rims are those?

VietYa09 says:

@MikeTuanNguyen O haha, nvm i just realized breather mod is just air flow
at the intakes isnt it haha.

hotkd78 says:

Funny thing is our stories are familiar, my dad is an epidemiologist , so
I’m drawn to the medical field at well, I am from queens NY and my name is
OJ, my email is orussel@albany.edu, we can chat there instead of on your
YouTube thread.

VietYa09 says:

NOt a problem at all man, i live around DC in the Northern Virginia area,
but now I’m going to medical school in Blacksburg. I’ve been meaning to
make a video for my HKS exhaust but i just havent had time haha..

alken84 says:

Clean G37 man! How did you paint the front grill? What type of paint you
use?

Eddie Gonzalez says:

hey man, at what rmp range do you feel the power gain in?

jefffralish says:

Yeah I read that too but thats hard to believe. Although it does show solid
gains through the run, looking at the dyno chart, it reached this gain at
103MPH. Also, the tuner at Z1 Motorsports (where I take my Z) highly
recommends this intake setup. I’m just worried about having to remove the
bumper to clean the filters.

ddemantos says:

@VietYa09 Is that an x configuration ? I read that the stock y exhaust is
more restrictive due to configuration as well as diameter

VietYa09 says:

@HUNDUSSG35 I paid $550 FOR THE INTAKES

antodiaz1 says:

You were doing great until you put those tiny ass yellow foglights! Sorry
bro they have to go…I do like the LED Drl’s

VietYa09 says:

@MikeTuanNguyen I actually dont know, but installed an HKS Hi Power Full
Catback exhaust back in April and will be making the review for that soon,
its just medical school is a killer to ur free time and hobbies. It sounds
really nice, nice low tone, and great power. its usually $2500, but i got
it for $1650 shipped, if you are interested, email me at
LSNguyen88@gmail.com and i’ll send you the link for that.

hotkd78 says:

Nice car bro, I’m actually looking to get one upon entrance to medical
school this year, What school do you attend?

MikeTuanNguyen says:

@VietYa09 haha no problem man. Do you by a chance know what the diameter of
the stock exhaust pipes are? I wanted to get a custom exhaust set up but i
don’t to waste money on a mere pipe replacement.

VietYa09 says:

@kennyffx I would recommend these, the Stillen Gen 3 Ultra Long Intakes for
maximum airflow. The second best in my opinion would be the Injen Cold Air
Intakes.
