I would never trust a hybrid or electric car from Hyundai/Kia. I’d rather invest my money on a Toyota/Lexus.

Boyd Merriman says:

I got a 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe, which now has a lifetime manufacturer warranty. I had a problem with my "Knock Sensor" when I was pulling a small trailer, (empty) which was making knocking sounds and my knock sensor kicked in while I was passing a truck. Not good.
Well, we got it home safely, and looked up the knock sensor only to find it was on recall! So we contacted our local dealer and they said "Not only is it on recall, the whole engine is on recall!" So we got a new engine as well as a new turbo put in. Lets see how long this one will last if I change the oil a lot and keep the turbo clean. And not pull empty trailers that bang around.

Richard A says:

Yes Kathie they have to put grease in those bearings also for those electric motors and I found more than a dozen times to get products and not have grease in the bearings
