question: since the sonata has both the positive and negative bulb wires yellow, do we need to worry how we plug in the red wires into it? I noticed in the video you said that you can check later but didn’t show how to.
please let me know

thanks

Ordered the 4300k h7 for my 2011 sonata limited.. Installed in less than 40 minutes including drilling the dust caps. Great video instructions. Thanks… Made installation a breeze!

Is there a video showing how to convert the foglights?

Roflcakes88 says:

I ordered from XenonSupply a couple weeks ago and there was some issues with their shipping. After some emails they sent out a new kit, second day FedEx to my door. I will be buying from XS again in the future.

Very informative video and clearly explained. My worry was only that ratchet was put down between the uninsulated battery terminals. We should avoid placing metals tools between the battery terminals to avoid accidental short.
Also, 12V supply wire for any electrical device installation should be the last one to be connected.

I recently installed HID 35watts 8000k for my 2012 Sonata for both low beam and DRL/High beam.

donnynewett says:

So can these be used in low beam and fog lights? How would this be hooked up diff from video?price?
Thx

This is a great video…do you have a video to show how to install load resistors for the front turn signals on a 2012 Sonata?

edgardguez20 says:

@razu305 I’m having the same problem! Can anyone help?

ereeves116 says:

Watch the ratchet around the battery, do not want to short the terminals.

razu305 says:

hey i just install my kit and it was working good for like 4 days and then the fuse in the relay harness got burned and now every time when i put a new one it burns right away any thoughts on what that could be.

Aziz Munir says:

Can you show how to do an installation on the new 2013 Accord Sedans?

Jorge Luis Fernandez says:

Just so you know. I´ll recommend the use of a relay harness that includes a 50W resistor in parallel with the signal cable to avoid the car from detecting a short circuit when the relay its switch on. This happened to me for a long time on my Hyundai Veracruz till I detected the problem. Every time you turn the HIDs on, the car experimented some sort of blackout for just a second. And it was the short circuit protection caused by the low resistance of the relay..

sdklegend says:

what about the relay for the fogs?

MichaelB450 says:

Can you do the 2012 Nissan Altima 2.5S when you get the chance?

slowgls says:

Please take out the housing out when replacing the light. It will make the install much easier. There are 3 ten mm bolts on the top of the housing.
