I have a Hyundai XG350 and it's the same setup. Thank you for posting this video. It is very informative.

Brandi Miller says:

You are a fantastic teacher! Throughly explaining every detail and giving helpful advice about other parts of the car as well. Your camera angles are flawless and your voice is interesting yet calm and relaxed but never boring. Thank you so much for taking the time to make this video! As a professional in my biz, I know you truly understand how to make a quality, well thought out video tutorial.

I am a sonata owner and I just wanted to know what the mechanic said was making me feel like I was on a boat in my car. NAILED IT! You make me want to do this all by myself (but I will have a professional do it since I lack the experience, time and tools). Keep up the great work.

Hate those jacks

Brad Chapman says:

great video!!! I sure would like it if you could do one one changing the ball joints on the front end of a Dodge ram pick up. . Great job.

JA28 says:

Great vid. You cover everything in only a few minutes.

My only warning is using jack stands. I had a car fall off the jack years ago (and the front wheel was chocked). No one was hurt, but it scared the cement out of me! The jacks supplied with cars are not to be relied upon for anything but changing tires.

Bobby Tectalabyss says:

Hi Doug. Very well done has always. I remember at 18 laying in the gravel putting rear shocks on a 67 galaxy and of course it came a rain storm,so about an inch of water also Lol.
All my very best.

RockAuto.com. parts are 1/3 price of local parts place. Even shops order from them. Choice of mfgs also. Avoid the cheapest parts . Most stuff even name brand is Chinese now regardless of label.
This will help people. שלום

Sir Sweetness says:

Should you do the final torque on that upper bushing bolt when the car is on the ground as to have weight on the suspension? Not twisting the bushing…

motorhead says:

Cool you show this. Many cannot afford to pay $100/hr shop.
Starters brakes alternators struts common issues. Fuel pump.s and relays in GM also.
We did this as kids out in the rain in street s of Queens .
Motors in cars now last way over 200k. Transmissions are the issue now.

motorhead says:

Need new struts every two years in NYC LI roads. Lol

Trailtraveller says:

Handy.. great vid again.

Don Chabot says:

Very clear, concise and explanatory video. As always top notch!

MDF RESCUER says:

Good video.

Trench says:

sadly most do not even know how to change a tire.. LOL
You should have stated to loosen a bit the bolts when on the ground since so many lift it and try to loosen it and the wheel turn or the car moves when too tight.
Also when you screw the tire back to screw the opposite nut is the general rule which you didn't show..
