We took this video to show you how to remove and replace the headlights on a Hyundai Santa Fe Generation from 2006 to 2012.
We demonstrated on a 2007 model but it will be the same for the whole generation. All you are going to need is a 10mm wrench to remove the 2 bolts on the top and 1 nut behind the headlight.
It will be the same procedure for the left and the right headlight. You will not need to remove the bumper in order to remove the headlight. Ours was just cracked there and that’s why it was a little bit loose.

Man, so easy to remove. 2010 Santa Fe, I had to pop out the assembly slightly as I couldn't access the turn signal lights as is. You can replace the headlights and high beams without removing the assembly.
But goodness it took a while to pop back in aligned until I said F it out of frustration and just put my full weight into it and it popped right into place.
Thanks for all the videos. But I just wanted to point out that most of your videos for repairing the Hyundai Santa Fe show "2006 2007 2008 2009 2010 2011 2012", but actually, the 2006 is the 1st generation and the 2007 is the 2nd gen, so it is quite different, including the headlights and many other aspects of its design. You probably should change your titles to show "2007 2008 2009 2010 2011 2012" instead.
people you dont have to go through all of that. see the big big cap in the video , well the outer one is low beam the inner one is the high beam, twist ether one it comes off, reach in and turn the bulb the the right and it will slide out, get a new one and reverse the prosess. and that is a 2012 i just did it to my wifes car. thank you and have a wonderful day or night when you are reading this

Awesome video. Exactly what I needed to see so I could change that bulb. Passenger side bulb replacement doesn’t require assembly removal.
Removed the three screws but can’t get the clip to release. Who the f designed this f ing thing just to replace the god d bulbs

Thanks for the information. Those light units are silly tight.
Taking this out wasnt too bad but man, getting it back in was nuts. I had to remove the skinny top plastic bezel in order to do so. I popped it back on but without the 4 screws it had. Not a huge deal considering it's still secured by the 2 larger bolts, but still.
Do the 2011 have 6pin interface
Is that a h 11 or an hour 7 bulb?
I'm getting pissed off watching this cause things don't work as smoothly as you show here I can't pull this mf headlight out after taking off them 3 bolts. That's how NOT tf simple it is.
