Repair of my (likely) Canadian-winter damaged Hyundai Sonata 2012 LE Rear View Cam
I do electronics repair as a hobby and thought I could tackle this little project. It was time consuming but fun. In twenty years I expect this to be the only of this type of car with a working camera.

Great video, very helpful. I just repaired mine this video heled a great deal. Just a few suggestions removing the chrome trim was tricky (or seemed it the first time) suggest plastic trim remove tools. The camera has 2 circuit boards as shown in this video. Once the 2 screws and spacers have been removed the top board can be wiggled side to side to separate it from the lower board. Also suggest using silicone seal on the exterior joints.
Would have been nice to see how you disassembled the trunk and took the metal off
