Glad it was of any help…..

kalsolarUK says:

cool, just what I was looking for.

Frank Mulder says:

Well 2010, can’t determine if you need a man, but for this job you don’t
😉 I myself had to replace the right bulb again and this time it took me
13 minutes to do the job. So I guess you can do it….. if you have the
propper tools …… (maybe a neighbour will have it for you ….. or will
do it for you). Good luck….!

2010lrain says:

Damn it…I still need a man, it looks too fiddly!

Jay Douglas says:

This is Excellent – The Third Bolt – you might have used the Anton Karas
theme from the 1950s ‘The Third Man’ film !! Without this tutorial I would
have needed a Third Mechanic … Oh, and I do assume that my wearing any
nailpolish is only an Optional Extra ? THANK YOU, FRANK. As they rightly
say – “You’re a scholar and a gentleman” – Cheerio.

Joey Bigz says:

yeah exactly what i thought lol…my gf’s hyundai i30 left globe was out,i
utubed this, found this great video and it saved me a shit load of time!!
thanks for the video mate your’e topshelf…..off to autobarn!!!

Frank Mulder says:

You’re welcome ….. Till now only 1 person disliked the instruction……
Guess he works in a garage ….. and this is not good for his business 😉

fdpgeurink says:

Thanks for the great instruction video ! Helped me a lot. The right dimmed
light was broken. Good to know that the water reservoir also has to be
removed. The Hyundai manual simply says: remove the light unit …

purlino says:

Nice video tks frank

Frank Mulder says:

wow … 3 times? You have far more experience now that I have 😉 What did
you do al these times? Changed the car? 😉

ninjawithsword says:

Yeah, and the last lightbulbs were OSRAM Nightbreak Plus which are somewhat
expensive… Seems to be a grounding problem on the headlight which occurs
mostly on the CRDI models. Changed the car? Not yet, besides some minor
quirks I’m happy with it. Before seeing this video I would remove all the
screws, all the cables and gently (or not) pull the whole headlight
assembly out of the car just to change the lightbulb. Thank you once again.

grofinjo says:

Hello…How to change fog lamp on i30?

Frank Mulder says:

Nice dealer…… You might send him the link as well Brian 😉

BorderlanderBE says:

Thanks for this!

Frank Mulder says:

You’re welcome…..

ninjawithsword says:

My i30 CW keeps blowing these. I already had to change the lightbulbs 3
times in just 55.000Km. You saved me a ton of time, thank you so much.

Frank Mulder says:

Buksing, as showed in the demo, the left can be handled with the removing
of the coolertank, but your suggestion by removing the battery on the
right, will not work. There is too little space between the cap and some
wiring behind it. Your free to prove I’m wrong ….. film it.

grofinjo says:

tnx 🙂

Frank Mulder says:

You’re welcome Rick.

Justin Burford says:

Touche Frank, touche… But, that means I’d have to open it up, take out
the bulb, then put it all back together to drive to the store to buy it.
Then repeat the process. Thought I could skip step one. I googled but that
wasnt very helpful.

91pasty says:

How to do it to other side lightbulb?

buksing2 says:

Pfft. I don’t like being negative normally. But seriously. It’s a lot
easier to take out the battery and you can slide the water proof cap to the
side when changing the bulb. The problem you can come across by moving the
head light unit is the beam adjustment can be out when the unit goes back
in.

Frank Mulder says:

You’re welcome Dawn. Make sure you polish his nails before he starts
changing another bulb……

Frank Mulder says:

Well Justin… I’ts been a year since I’ve had to do the trick. Why not
just buy the same as you have to take out ;-). I guess that any
search-engine can help you out. Cheers

chrisjeffsmusic says:

I believe the fd i30s take H7 bulbs and H7Ls in the fog lights, best to
check though

Frank Mulder says:

You’re welcome. The manual should say:”Have a look at YouTube at the
instructionvideo from …. etc” …. 😉
