edward james says:

very thorough, you put alot of effort in giving us a view when you're able, and you explain stuff like you should.

steven glansberg says:

Fixed my starter this exact same way thanks for the video you're the man !!!

Jeff Scott says:

Thanks for the help!!! the lever was $13 from the dealership. You saved me about $220 bucks!

Dan Matthews says:

Best job of recording on Youtube ever! Nicely done!

Ramon Brown says:

Dude omg you saved me at least $250 If not $550 If I would have taken it to a shop. You're the best Brian. Oh yeah I worked the bolts from the top by removing the air cleaner and all connecting hoses on my 2010 Sonata for anyone who hasn't done this yet.

Awesome Tomlin says:

Thank you Briansmobile1!!! appreciate you taking the time to do this!

tomcat360 says:

Thanks bro, you saved me $127 for a new starter and having someone else do it…

David Hilton says:

Thank you Brian you are awesome!!! Your verbal direction is A1.

Jackie Bee says:

Thanks Brian for this great video. Now I know what the problem is and able to get the right fix for the right price. I would do it if I had the space and the tools but do not, so have to pay the experts. If they do the job like you, it will be money well spent.

Humberto Rios says:

could that noise be anything else? because i changed the starter and the timing belt and it still won't start. help

BananaMan says:

Thanks, I will be doing a 2009 Sonata

Brad Noyes says:

That's the smallest (automotive) starter i've seen

David Mentier says:

Giving this a try today. Hopefully I can do it. A $15 part is a lot better than a couple hundred bucks at a shop. Wish me luck.

I don't know if this helps or not, but the part number you need is a 36131 2G 100FFF. It cost $15 at the dealership here in Arizona.
