New Vapor Canister Vent Solenoid from 1AAuto.com https://trq.video/ia-1AEEV00038
This video shows you how to install a new vapor purge valve or purge valve solenoid on your 2006-2010 Hummer H3. Vapor purge valves are an important part of the EVAP system that allow the contained fuel vapors to be released into the combustion chamber under certain conditions. Modern purge valves are controlled by the vehicle’s computer system, and electronic solenoids. Failure of the valve or the control solenoid will result in an emissions trouble code that could prevent passing emissions testing.
Estimated installation time for a professional technician is approximately: 1 hour 6 minutes
This repair was done on a 2007 Hummer H3 X 3.7L Sport Utility 4-Door 4WD Automatic and the process should be similar on the following vehicles:
2006 Hummer H3
2007 Hummer H3
2008 Hummer H3
2009 Hummer H3
2010 Hummer H3
