Randy Kling says:

good instruction…..I recommend using both bungies and spiders to keep the
chains secure….

dchandlerco says:

The chock idea is good. A 2×6 to drive the inside tire on allows completed
chain wrap. Still retrospect after a 1/4 mile. How about a real world
video. Snow storm on the side of the interstate with road salt etc dripping
in your eyes and soaking your gloves

Karlett555 says:

thanks that makes sense

6969rowdy says:

Thank you,very helpful video.

Blaine Lott says:

Thanks for this video. Being from the south I had no clue how to. I tried
but couldn’t figure out. My trainer never showed me how.

Karlett555 says:

Just yesterday i was talking to a truck driver and he mentioned the best
way is to use a “chock” as we call it in my country. As I understood it
could be just a piece of hardwood, even a tree trunk on which you drive
onto in order to lift the truck. Than it is easier to fit the chain… Why
would you need to lift the truck to fit the chain???

MarcusF150 says:

thanks man. i’m from Louisiana so i didn’t know dick shit about how to put
these on til now and i am an over-the-road driver for almost a year now so
i need to know how to put these on with winter coming. thanks.

Wisconsin Jones says:

Cool thank you

TireChainsRUs says:

You don’t need to lift the truck. You lay the chains over the top of the
tire, and then drive forward onto the chain before finishing install. This
is explained in the video.

stephane sarrasin says:

he only used a double set chain, use a tripple. use a real chain where you
using it offroad.

andrivif says:

if you are only chaining up the outer wheel you can lift it up by driving
on to a chock with your inner wheel, that way you don’t have to drive up on
the chain an eliminate the possibility of your chain not sitting right
under the wheel and free your self from a lot of extra work
