That vehicle is Not the Adventure Package and it is full time 4wd !

JD says:

First of all, ALL Hummer H3's are full time 4wd. You cannot take it out of 4wd. The Adventure package on the 2006-08 has a electric locker on the rear only. Every day driving it's in 4wd high with 40/60 front to rear power distribution. 4wd high lock is 50/50 front to rear power distribution. 4wd low lock is the same as high lock just in a lower range. Adventure package also has the 33" tires with a lower ratio transfer case.
I have a 2007 Hummer H3 base and I had the same problem with my front end and it didn't need to be replaced.
The bushings holding the 7.6 IFS axles are notorious for wearing out prematurely. There are several companies that offer polyurethane bushings with stainless steel inserts that keep the front axle from moving. I seen in this video when you were turning the wheels to spin the cv axles (half shafts) I could see those bushings on the mounts moving. Excessive movement on that axle is what is wearing parts out. It also makes a clunking sound in stop and go traffic.
Now the heat inside of the cab, especially in the console area, can be lowered by adding dynomat under the carpet under the console. You have two (2) heat sources coming from underneath the vehicle. 1: hot air pushed back from the engine and 2: the exhaust system is the closest to the underbody heating up the console area. A axle WILL NOT HEAT UP A FLOOR since it's right under the engine.

The main take on this waste of time video is #1. you don't know the vehicle your working on and #2 Not knowing and misdiagnosing the problem cost the customer a lot of money. You robbed this customer like a bandit. An ASE certified automotive technician is where this customer needs to take their vehicle.

What did you finally do to fix this car?

Dennis#12 says:

A waste of time to watch…..

your all idiotz says:

The hummer h3 is full time 4 wd drive. The adventure had the option of locking front or rear diffs

James Sanborn says:

It is the transfer case that causes it not to move with out both front and rear diff
