Lance Smith says:

If you can afford an h3,why not spend your riches on a new torsion key? If
i didnt have four kids, and house payment,i’d go all out. Then again,i drive
a 95 dakota,not a h3.

SAM — I understand you suffer from small penis disease but there’s no
reason to take your frustrations out on people here on youtube. do everyone
a favor and kill yourself !

Rob S says:

what the f do the brakes and pumping them have to do with this ????????
your not even taking the wheels off

chpjimmy says:

it does. it wears out ball joints faster. i cranked mine up and it seems
fine to me so far. the next set of ball joints i’m getting will have zerks
in it so they can be properly greased up. what he says in this vid is dead
on! i still need to do a alignment lol my camberge is way off on both sides
need to get her in for a alignment

balista101 says:

did you do this with the stock parts?

ltucker9 says:

That looks prety good without a aftermarket lift kit.

RaWrBaZaR says:

He actually does mention to get a wheel alignment. It is located in the
description, I own a 2003 Chevrolet Avalanch with body cladding. Since the
truck stock has a lower front end, i went down to my friends at a local
shop, they cranked the front torsion bars up to level with the front, not
with a higher front end, i feel more comfort and stability while driving.
Aswell as me personally did not need a wheel alignment. I will be making a
vid soon, thanks!

Just got 31s on my 99 Jimmy. I’m about to do a video next week it will be
under (GMC JIMMY COMEBACK) thank 4 the info ur bid was helpful

anthonyorel88 says:

Do. Not do what this guy says this stiffens your ride makes the ride hard
and is not good for the tortion bars can ruin them buy the keys and do it
proper nothing like hitting a bump and your torsion bars collapse

parentaladvisory66 says:

Never heard of this happening to a H3 after a torsion lift with stock keys.

Phillip36oh says:

just puts more wear on the ball-joints, its causes a little more of a firm
or stiff ride. but what he didnt tell you is you will need to get a
alignment after you do it cause your moveing your camber angle. if you dont
is the tire tread will wear unevenly across the top.

Robert Estep says:

I crank em all the way up no jack needed if you aint a pussy or stupid.
Just use a breaker bar and yer balls. Stock shocks work fine my truck rides
great. Not talking shit to the video poster just saying this for people
with a small budget or people that dont have a jack

719FoxRider719 says:

doesnt this wear out the torsion bar quicker? I would think it would do
damage to the truck over time cranking it that much?

jgalvar says:

@Phillip36oh I’ve been about 30,000 miles now with them cranked and haven’t
had any problems…front wheel alignment is mentioned in the description

strikerstudd10 says:

Do you have to buy torsion bar keys or can you do it with just stock parts?

jgalvar says:

@ltucker9 it looks level to me too especially compared to what it looked
like before!

jgalvar says:

@indeliblehiphop yeah anything below 2.5 is fine. 24.5″ from center of the
hubcap to fender at most…anything below is good.

Jeremy Strain says:

Thanks for the quick video but isn’t quite level but nice

jgalvar says:

@soundscare if you can’t figure it out from this you probably shouldn’t do
it

indeliblehiphop says:

Great tutorial man thanks, a couple questions – is it ok to lift it but not
quite to level, just an inch or so lower lets say instead of 2.5? And also,
will that mess with any warranty stuff? Thanks again!

Beeilly says:

Just bought me a 2006 h3, I was fixing to do a break job for someone. He is
a younger fella, said he wanted his torsion bars tightened maybe one inch
lift, I told him while we are at it we can lift the hummer about an inch to
inch and a half, two inches or more will wear your cv joints badly.

NISMOfanseattle says:

if thats your defintion of level you must be high

jgalvar says:

@tmkbehkn correct

soundscare says:

shitty, i thought you were going to show us how to do it……

parentaladvisory66 says:

helps move the t-bars around a bit (that’s what you’re adjusting to give
front end lift)

adam Henshall says:

make sure you check your cv joints going over a 2 inch lift usually the
joints start to wear pretty fast

jgalvar says:
