I’m going to try this tomorrow I hope it works. It currently takes me about
15 mins or more to fill up my tank :/
even just watching him take them out was giving me creeps :(
This is a great video! And since you’re speaking from experience, you
clearly know what you’re talking about. I bet a lot of people will find
this video very helpful. Keep checking if there are little critters
stopping your car from filling up properly!
You are the Best this worked and save me much hassle! I took my car to 3
auto mechanics in Austin tx. One told me i would have to replace the whole
tank $400. Another told me that it was a safety switch that turns of the
gas entry, if ever the car were to flip??? The other couldn’t figure it out
(Midas) Thank You
Hey, Great video, My 2002 Corolla’s gas tank was difficult to fill, So I
followed your instructions, and wouldn’t you know it, there was a spider
egg sac blocking the same spot you had the mud wasp nest!
I need to try this for my car.
Perfect video, i did alot of research with no results. this is exactly what
was wrong with my 2003 avalon. it also triggered an oxygen sensor engine
check light which i reset after cleaning the vent tube and filling up with
gas, never came back on. thank you
Wow! You are awesome! Thanks. Me, Mary and Lisa I hope we get to try this
if she is willing. This was very helpful. Great Work!!!

Where would that hose be at on a chevy equinox

Very helpful. Thank you.
Thanks, my problem was a aftermarket filler neck hose that was at too steep
of an angle by the tank. Free fix!
thanks great video….I am going to look for a screen / air filter devise
to put in place…bob
I have a unique problem. The little hinged flap that covers the fuel intake
hose broke off and fell into my gas tank. When I try to fill the tank the
little flap floats up into the full intake hose and signals to the gas pump
that the tank is full. At this point, I have to depress the gas nozzle,
wait a second to let the flap sink, and then resume filling—SLOWLY. It
takes me about 15-20 minutes to fill my tank!! Any ideas?
Thanks, Dad!
Lol “And now for the moment of truth” that’d be funny if gas spewed
everywhere.
HELP! I have a 2000 VW Golf, and the gas tank won’t fill, and I couldn’t
found that tube at anywhere !!! And one know where is the vent tube for VW
(Not TDI)??
thanks so much! this video inspired me to look my my evap system, and
removing a clogged tube, thus fixing my problem. all i did was remove that
tube connected to the charcoal box, and unplugged a plug w/ two wires
connected to the charcoal box. im going to clean it later today
I watched your video……glad to see it worked………… but felt sorry
for you at the pump since prices are high! I am having same issue I am
getting ready to check to see why I can not fill. I donated a gallon.
thanks for your informative video
Just tried this (1999 camry), unfortunately the tube and area you show is
perfectly clean. Any other suggestions?
Does anyone have the fuel nozzle keep clicking and only can put 50 cents of
gas in your car at a time? If you are having a hard time filling up your
gas tank, this is your 15 minute cure!
Try this before you take your car to the dealer and they charge you $400!
