brian want to fix the o rings on the valve train (leaking oil into spark
plug well) I donot know where exactly the rubber rings go. Plus how
difficult will the valve springs be
thi is such a funny and awesome video and very informative. gotta do this
on my 93 accord too.
be careful with pulling the rocker arms off I did this job on my 92 and
when prying up the rockers I accidently lifted the left side of the cam out
of the engine and screwed up the timing. the end of the cam has a flat
slot that fits into the end of the shaft for the distributor if that’s
pointing straight up and down the cam will want to pop out under the
tension of the timing belt
I am guessing that a 1994 would be pretty much the same. I was just
getting ready to change my spark plugs and saw the oil. First thing i
thought was OMG! Thought something was cracked up top. First place i came
was to YOUTUBE of course. A lot makes sense now because my gas milage has
been dropping. A misfiring cylinder will cause a decrees in gas milage. I
Just need to know if a 1994 is set up the same way before i dig into it.
Great video, but I can’t get the rocker arm back on. The two bolts nearest
the timing belt don’t want to line up, and if I force it, I’m afraid it’ll
strip the bolt
I bet Brian could do this better if he was high……
Thanks for the informative video ! Very helpful
is it necessary to do a valve adjustment after taking off the rocker
assembly? i have to do this to my 1990 civic wagon and i was just
wondering.
it is a good video I learn a lot of the hondas by looking your videos that
was great because i have a 1992 honda that has oil leak on the spark plugs
Bend the valves? Explain that to me again
I have this prob with my 91 honda.
WoW
Honda engines are Flawless. I see a lot of 1996-2000 Hondas At least
300.000KM on them .
Honda is Legend [ Even better than Toyota ]
This is a bullshit video.
Thanks for the video Brian. Very helpful and simple. I now know that I can
do this job no problem.
Omg dude I replaced the upper seals on mine and was left with the o rings.
You’re the first to know where they go
Thank you so much for the video. I have a 91 Accord and I don’t know shit
about cars, and this helped me fix it all myself. Really appreciate it!
Thank you for the video… good job….
hes crazy you dont have to take off your engine piston value you hes doing
stuff the hard way you can just seal thoses to the motor i did it like that
my car runs good if it leaks seal it with sealant rtv seal the value cover
to if it leak
I just bought a 1990 Honda Accord your vidoe helped alot TY. The passenger
door seat belt holder will not retract when the doors closed how do you fix
it
What size are o rings that get damaged? What exactly should I do too
prevent valves from bending? Is procedure exactly the same on a F22B2?
Would have been a great vid if there wasn’t all the playing and sound
effect felt like I was watch a child explain how to…
I am a mechanic myself. I find your videos very helpful when I am stuck on
something.
does the F23a1 from 1998 accord has that kind of o-ring thing?
that engine is mess up the value gasket dont suppose to come off are be
stuck on the value cover thats what happen to me my dad both me a gasket
kit
Thank you you are the only person I’ve seen who knows where thoes I rings
go. Good video good sense of humor good job
You can buy a torque wrench at harbor freight for 10 or 20 dollars torque
problem solved.
Liked it and subscribed good job 😉 keep up good work go Honda!!!
this is a great video…thank you
To funny wish every mechanic was like this
Is it the same process for a 91′ Honda accord?
how would I clean the oil that is inside
Good video…. I was scared to pulled the Rocker Arm section of the valve
train off as I don’t have air tools. From all the details thus far I
feel much more comfortable doing this…. Also I was wondering whats the
dealio with the rocker arms bending the valves?!
ok mickey seals
Nice video men .
good tips thanks
excuse me when you took the part where the rings go you had to torque the
screws?
Thanks, You are cool dude
Lol, so I actually posted my first comment within the first ten seconds
haha and now I just got to the autozone part lol guess this is about to get
good for me., I got the fel-pro gasket.,
very well done video, detailed without being repetitive. Thanks alot.
Spark plug gaskets,? They’re included in some valve cover gaskets as a
bundle hopefully that fixes my oil In my second cyl
Thanks I’ve been looking all over on how to solve this problem!!!
My sister bought a 96 Accord (6 months ago) from a BS car lot. The cluster
say 126,000 miles, the outside and inside look like that also but the
engine look like 256,999 miles. My point is, how can I tell if it needs a
timing belt?
Put everything back the way you said, cleaned everything, replaced spark
plugs, new wires, still wont start. Sounds like it wants to turn over, but
there’s still no spark. Any suggestions?
this guy is awesome to watch lmao. his tutorials are so entertaining.
Bro how can the valves bend when puttin the top part back on or
This guy does a great job! He gives detail and can be pretty amusing to
boot!
