Thank you so much! My instructions were very vague, and they said refer to
the service manual to remove right grip. I was ready to disassemble my
whole handle bar.

There are plenty of videos on how to install motorcycle grips, but how do
you REMOVE ISO grips? The throttle side would seem easy, but the clutch
side?

Use golf grip tape and proper solvent, grip goes on smoothly, you have
plenty of time to adjust the position and it does not come off! After 3
tries (yes, 3 sets of grips) I finally got the grip all the way on with the
supplied glue and just two days later the glue broke free.
I installed then on my busa just like he said. If I rushed it. The WD40 is
the key, made removal by rocking back n forth like cake. In 15min taking my
time I was done. But on the busa you need to grind the weighted end of bar
in order to smoothly slide on

watched this video and thought about the glue pushing forward. I’m sorry
you had to pay 70 bucks for the mistake, but I appreciate you saving others
from making that same mistake.
Just installed these on my Honda Vtx. It was very easy thanks to this
video!! Just be careful, that glue sets up fast!!
you should put the glue down the grip, not on the handlebar. That way the
glue gets distributed downwards towards the end of the grip and not pushed
up towards the switch box. That’s the way that it’s done on the official
Kuryakyn install video
I love my new grips that I just purchased from cruiser customising
I would not recommend applying glue directly to the handlebar or throttle
housing. The grip will “plow” the glue, which will put glue where you do
not want it – between the end of the grip and the throttle housing. This
happened to me and when I stopped pushing the grip on so I could wipe the
extra glue off, I was screwed. The glue sets up INSTANTLY and so my grip
was glued solid but still needed to be pushed two more inches. Apply the
glue to the inside of the grip ONLY. Cost of mistake: $70.
The grips are expensive. Try ebay
what kind of glue is that? does it come with every kuryakyn grip?
Yeah…this happened to me. I’m about 2 mil off from the housing and not
quite at the position I had intended. It’s ok, but not what I had wanted.
Got to be careful and work very quickly.
Can you just put the glue right on the end of the handle bar and have the
handle spread the glue as you push it on? i feel like it’ll allow the glue
to be thinner and spread evenly. what do ya think?
