Sean Denis says:

No one ever explains the slide pins. In my 2008 honda pilot. One of the rear calipers has one slide pin that has a rubber on end of it and the other slide pin doesn't. Looks kinda octagonish. My question is does it matter which hole the one with the rubber on end and the other go into

Commando says:

8mm x 1.25 bolts to take off great tip thanks Also my rotor screws were extremely stuck if you’re having the same issue use the end of a 3/8 ratchet or some thing about the size of the head of the screw and smack it with a hammer as hard as you can to break the rust and soak it in penetrating oil, add heat and slowly extract I broke multiple Phillips number three heads before I had to cut a slot With a Dremel to put in a flat head

Richard Curtis says:

You missed a few points. The slide puns ate different and you should have mentioned which one was top and bottom. The one with the little rubber bushing is bottom. If you do them one at a time it's not a big deal, but you know most people are just gonna pull them both out lol

Ray Johnson says:

Don't put grease on pad tabs, brake dust will stick to it and bind.

Kiko Calvillo says:

Don't you have to open the brake fluid tank before you push the piston brake?

Erick Nicolas says:

Was wondering if you can use an impact screwdriver to takr the rotors screws off or can that possibly damage the emergency brake system?

Tyler Chang says:

U guys missed lock tight

J SP says:

Perfect thanks!

Kris Kjellquist says:

For the screws holding on the rotor, note they are not actually Phillips head. They are JIS (#3 I believe). Spend the $15-20 on a JIS impact screwdriver and thank me later. 😉

James Spitler says:

MUNIR QAZI says:

Thanks a lot.make my day.

Bee says:

I usually bleed the brake line after. Is it not needed?

Scott Caley says:

Your video was so clear and concise! I changed the rear pads and rotors of my 2005 Honda Pilot with no problem.

I appreciated the job maintenance tips such as using the carton as a catch basin for part cleaning, and flipping the rotor around on the lugs to hold it for cleaning the reverse side.

Thank you!

Chris Martin says:

Needed to replace my rear brakes and thanks to this step-by-step DIY video, it was a breeze! Super easy to follow and saved me money. Thanks!!

Mir Anwar says:

Excellent video

Paul bouverette says:

Is the thickness of new rotor the same as OEM? No-mention of it.

jeremy nichols says:

Just did the rears on my GF's '08 this past weekend. Locator screws would NOT budge even with penetrating oil so I had to drill them out, but other than that it was a pretty easy job. Thanks for the great video!

Zeno Joseph says:
