How-To REPLACE Honda Fit Headlight Bulbs | Honda Fit LED UPGRADE | Fahren LED Headlight Bulb Review

Here are the bulbs I used: https://amzn.to/3xSHumR

Honda Fit headlights can be a little more difficult to replace than your average car. Here is the easiest way (in my opinion) to replace them. I may as well try out some new LED bulbs while I am at it.

You do not need to pass under the fender. It is a lot easier and faster to fix it under the hood simple.

What a cunt if a job, I just replaced the front right bulb on my nefews car, with all the wiring and shitin the way we ended up taking the whole light system out n replace the bulb, it was faster n easier, 2 bolts for the guard a couple of clips 2 bolts n 2 screws n un plugged the 4 sets of wires n boom the lense was out, way faster n easier than your way

1, whats the wattage for the original bulbs and the replacement LED bulbs?

2, what is the highest wattage LED bulbs you can install without any modification (wires, fuse)?

I’m only upgrading to blind other drivers.

With the dust cover popped out are you getting any dust in your headlight? Since it’s not sealing around the bulb itself like oem I was worried about dust entering. Great video! Glad I found this!!

This really is a very well done and comprehensive review and installation guide! I looked at these Fahren bulbs for my 2019 Honda Fit LX and Amazon is flagging these as “Does not fit.” Is that because of the external driver? Does the method you used with the dust cover actually allow these bulbs to fit? I assume the 2019 fit has the same H4 plug right?

@GrahamParkerVermont says:

Any issue with re-alignment? I just installed Auxito H4 LED bulbs in my 08 Fit after a good recommendation in a FB Honda Fit group. Just hoping the alignment doesn't need to be changed at all.

Hi Kevin, I'm needing to replace the headlights on my 2008 Honda fit and I was wondering how these bulbs held up for you over time. Thanks

@relprelp says:

Well good video, but the way you have kept the dust cover is not appropriate the dust cover needs a bit trimming on the the bulb holder side, the led holder needs to be installed 1st then penetrating the led bulb in the dust cover. Installing the bulb and dust cover simultaneously. I know it is tough I have done it in honda amaze a sedan version. But unfortunately in honda jazz n fitt there is no space to use the procedure I mentioned but this procedure will never let dust enter in your reflector. I wish I had sources to put my words into video.

But appreciate your efforts and work!
