Oh my goodness ..i was gonna do it myself…but nevermind…too many tools and too many steps for something that should be cleaned frequently… BUT i will say Honda Pilots are very dependable SUV.. and the security system is very good

Joy Hoque says:

What a stupid job done by honda,

Kris Jacobsen says:

My undying gratitude for this video. I’m a 69 y/o woman whose husband once completely rebuilt a Willy’s WWII Jeep. I like to know I can do some simple mechanical tasks so I set my sights on this and this video was exactly what I needed. I discovered that not only did my air filter need replacing, but there were all kinds of mahogany leaves that needed to be vacuumed out too. But I can cross this off my list now, and I’ll do it more often going forward. Thank you for such clear, concise directions.

Kathleen Spears says:

You can order them through Dooxi. They seem to be machined with a degree of care and work quiet well.

That metal bar will not for the life of me come out

Thanks great video

ASTRA ALBA SLAVE COLONY says:

Thanks for the vid, i just pulled the original filter out and it was completely blocked up and pure black. I could easily tell it was the original because i had to cut that plastic bar away.

MJ2forlife says:

I used your video to change my 07 pilot cabin filter. I had to snip out that plastic piece (ie had never been changed by previous owners). What a mess of pine needles and dirt in there. No wonder my car smelled like a locker room full of teenage boys who haven’t showered in a year. Awesome video. Full disclosure, I do have teenagers. So there’s that.

matthew white says:

Just saved me $40 by doing it myself!! GREAT video!! Easy to follow!! Thanks 1A Auto Parts!!!!

Mike Lowe says:

Really Honda ? Why in the world would it take that much work for a cabin filter ?
