Paul Labaun says:

engine oil and trans fluid are not the same thing. 10w30 will destroy your
transmission

toby bul says:

10w30 for transmission fluid? hmmm…

Vance Carolin says:

Great video! But what if all the bolts are out and the transmission will
not budge?

Brandon Stalcup says:

The video explains well but just the viewing are that you show does not
really show where exactly you are working on the car if your going to make
a how to video you should show a better view of the vehicle and explain
where exactly you are working on the car because you are too close to the
parts your working on to see where the parts are located under the car

bodizofa wilson says:

where is the next video?

Polo Heysquierdo says:

I will be doin this today to change out a clutch+ timing belt replacement +
oil change on my brother’s 6th gen accord

Fixbook says:

lol yeah, I haven’t had that car for sooo long, I’ve been through 3
secondary cars since then lol

Nick Pettersson says:

i have a 97 honda accord

Fixbook says:

@spunkenhimer Ok, thanks.

Josh McMillan says:

Is this a manual or automatic tranny?

OfficialKaelenCanady says:

same for 93 accord ?

Fixbook says:

Sorry you feel that way

tino cutz says:

Glad I came back to this video, i was about to use some DEXRON II fluid…
The original fluid in my honda is Light-brownish, but I have bought some
that is cherry red? and I have bought a new TCU unit because of a burned
RESISTOR on the motherboard ! I also have a bottle of LUCAS slip fluid…
what should I do ? and which is the best fluid for my car (92 Honda Accord
AUTO )

Clark Kent says:

why dont you guys work on integras? Makes me sick of having integra tbh

Nick Pettersson says:

my transmission was slipping and then it wouldnt shift then it wouldnt
start now it works if i drive it at low rpm’s. could it be my computer?

oscar131804 says:

Fluids fine im takibg trans down now clutch making a scratching noise

eishiba10 says:

Darn it, wheres part 3? I wanted to see the transmission actually come out
and how you do it.

Fixbook says:

@hoopfan71 That is what you should do, and what I should have done.

Fixbook says:

I’ve decided I never want to go inside a transmission; I will always
replace the whole thing. So I’m sorry, but no I can not help.

wyaa71 says:

IT’S ALOT OF WORK!!.. I TAKE EVERYTHING OUT EVEN THE ENGINE UP TOGETHER..

Fixbook says:

@spunkenhimer I will give you a response if you go to my Facebook help page
(group). Go to the following url, join the group and you can copy and paste
your question there. facebook. com/groups/258609394218328/

tino cutz says:

Is the transmission fluid suppose to be a LIGHT-BROWNISH color? it has
220,000 miles and runs good ! But now it starts slippin ! & will not start
fast in D4 but will accell fast if i start from D1 gear

Walter Johns says:

@HondaHowTo1 no prob I did and just to let you know i go it taken care of
only thing is now i got to get the atts stuff off i’ll ask you about that
on the facebook group page.

brittni holmes says:

Is that the same procedure for a 1999 Honda accord?? I really love your
videos they r very helpful!!.

Fixbook says:

Yes, good advice.

maggie BEDEAU says:

its a automatic put adifferent used tranny init and its doing the same hing
the first one did it will shift but when you put it in park it makes a
grinding noise like its not shifting all the way into park and still
spinning also when you put it into reverse and drive it wont go anywhere
just revs

TheJESSELEELEWIS says:

You have oil leaking from the bottom of your oil filter?

maggie BEDEAU says:

I have a 94 Honda Accord we just put in a new used transmission after the
old one quit after 400,000+ miles. The first problem was leaking
transmission fluid& it shifted fine we drove it home & drove it back to the
shop, got to the shop & had a leak in the Axel seal changed it and it still
leaked found out we needed new cv axels & changed them, no more leak. But
now when the car warms up & we drive it for about 5-10min it stops shifting
& just revs up reverse works fine though after it warms

jonathan dyer says:

If it’s automatic and you put fluid back in, make sure you use HONDA
transfluid…

4underscores says:

hey i tried using your facebook thing but it didnt work im changing the
tranny on my tiburon and its all loose and i can move it and its seperated
a bit all arond the tranny from the engine but it just wont pop away from
the engine if i pry a bit on it it just pops back,

Dylan464 says:

thank you… didnt see that top bolt underneath, next to the motor mount
cuz my buddys car is covered in greasy now i know and stage 1 is goin in

Fixbook says:

@eishiba10 It’s now available on my blog which is linked on my channel.

Fixbook says:

Ahh ha lol it sounds like your throw out bearing is shot. That would make
since now.

oscar131804 says:
