Good review. Mine did not include instructions so nice to visualize how to install the bars. Mine included one extra washer too!
Thank you for this. Certainly makes the first time easier after watching someone else do it correctly the first time.
I installed on 2015 Honda CR-V, and notice that my front cross bar sits higher than rear. I do have the front and rear crossbar in correct position, shouldn’t bars be level? Are brackets different heights for front and rear?
Thanks for the video. I just installed mine The awful instructions say torque the bolts to 10 ft lbs. This is way too much. The bolts are stainless but they will strip very easily. I tightened mine very snugly with a 1/4 ratchet and called it a day. I also used removable lock tite.
Thank you for taking the time to make this video. I just ordered a new 21 CRV Hybrid and was going to add the OEM roof racks…at about $600. I saw this, jumped on Amazon and found them for $99. Nice!!!
Thanks for walking through this!
Your instructions were perfect. Thank you. I have a question: The inside plastic thingies did not snap on any of the corners well. I know they were just cosmetic, but my question is should I put little vaseline to avoid any rusting?
Thank you! Helpful!
Very helpful! Thanks!
These seem decently durable compared to what I see for sale on Amazon. The link does not take you to product. Do they still make it? What is the brand?
A very thorough explanation.. Thank.
I’m not going to watch it as it doesn’t say which mk it is I think this is important
This fits a 2004 crv? I looked it up on Amazon and it says not compatible.
Thanks. Very clear. I think I can do this myself now.
Did you happen to know the weight limit of these? Thanks!
Awesome. Thank you for link as well..
What is the brand of your roof rack and has it held up since you posted this? Thanks!
Why can’t you say who the manufacturer is
Do you know the screws size (at 1:09)?
