hello I have a Honda civic 2004 the heat and ac don’t work but it blows out

1A Auto Parts says:

It should be around that general area.

MZLALA19 says:

i have 2000 impala ls when i start my car up turn a/c on it take a minute
b4 it comes on sometimes the lights will be on but the air wont come on
until i hit the area where the ac is so it can come on…i dont know it is
a shortage or need new fuses but it only work on 5 not 1234 you have any
idea what this problem might be????

1A Auto Parts says:

The resistor is in line with the wiring going to the motor. You will have
to trace it back from the blower motor.

Can you please show how to replace the ac compressor and receiver/dryer on
a 2002 honda civic? Thanks.

1A Auto Parts says:

you may want to have the system checked to see if it’s low of freon.

I have a question, is the heater core behind the blower?

blueheavensince62 says:

I have a 98 civic, when i turn on the fan switch (with ac button on too) to
the 1st and 2nd level, no air comes out and there isn’t even a sound that
anything is on. The fan only blows air at the 3rd and 4th level. Any idea
what the problem(s) maybe? thank you

partialxbirth1 says:

Be sure you know it’s the motor and not the resistor or the switch on the
dash. On my 2001 Civic the fan control did not work on any fan level. I
tested the motor which did work with power to it when it was disconnected.
The A/C indicator light did work when I used the control knob so I assumed
the switch panel was good. Put in a new resistor and all worked!! Yeah!

1A Auto Parts says:

There may be a small C-Clip on the fan cage bolt that secures it in place.
Hope this helps you out. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393 FREE SHIPPING in the lower

I don’t know ANYTHING about cars but am interested in fixing this issue
(air not coming out of a/c nor heater). My A/C indicator light works
fine…so, what is the “resistor” and how can I fix it?

1A Auto Parts says:

Usually when you start loosing the speed settings, the blower motor
resistor has gone bad. You may want to take a look at it.
