How to install motorcycle grips (and bar end mirrors) on a motorcycle! It’s pretty similar for most other motorcycles that are throttle by cable (not throttle by wire.) This install is done on a Honda Grom.

Briar Fox says:

The pro taper pillow top grips are awesome. I like the homage to HD though with the Thrusters.

Gromin With Rob says:

The bar ends come off super easy with a JIS #3 bit in a 1/4" impact. Compressed air balloons the grip nicely so they pop right off.

Average Car Guy says:

Do you have an updated product link? The one posted is different than the one you used. It doesn’t have the guards.

SimonSees says:

Nice! thanks for the vid brotha. I live in Cali where we can split lanes so no grip-end mirrors for me.

Conway says:

If u want to save grips use wd40 and the straw it comes with, insert the straw & spray wd40 into it and spin the grip. When installing new grips clean the wd40 off the bar

Darhino Dauda ⚽ says:

I'm getting dizzy need better camera handling buddy.

Kevin says:

Were you able to get it over the raised edge at the base of the bar? The one that's near the kill switch? I kept trying and trying and there was no way to get my grips over that one.

JOHN CLARK says:

Even though my first bikes I bought a custom chopper and Kawasaki 800 I really want one of these help me learn to ride quicker and better.

Dumb Lifer Bry says:

What I did was I put my new grips on a metal pipe and hammer down the pipe thru the grips to create a clean hole.

Dan Bufton says:

Is this bike in the Uk

Kodiak660 says:

Jam screw driver in like you did, then spray WD-40 in along side the screw driver, start working the screw driver around. Presto! Grip comes off.

Jebt00b says:

Tried to mount Pro Grip 719s and I can say it doesn't make it over the throttle tubes jagged outter edge. It starts but its a gummier grip that just catches fullstop. Also a decent number #2 Philips with a channel lock on the screwdriver neck also breaks screws free.
I guess while im at it, I use dish soap like Palmolive to lube and glue grips. Ever try to clean dried dish soap without water?? Yeah it holds like a mofo.

4-n says:

I melted a plastic side panel while debadging it. Was being impatient so kicked up the heat gun from low to high and melted it pretty quickly. Fortunately it was relatively inexpensive to replace. Maybe not inexpensive for what it was but inexpensive for an OEM replacement part. Put another way I've made more expensive mistakes but I consider it an investment. I saved way more money learning to do things myself than the cost of my occasional mistakes and I've made a few good ones.

Clark Babin says:

Much easier than changing Harley grips

RedRider0151 says:

If you have a compressor, just shoot some air under the grip and it will slip right on brudda….no hair spray needed….

w1rth says:

A word of advice. Now that you are getting to be a bigger Youtuber, you may want to start blurring your license plates. You would be surprised at the information an individual can get just from that.

George Farrar says:

Use an impact driver for the bar ends. The style that you hit with a hammer not the impact gun

Reece_BHC says:

IF THIS GETS 300 LIKES NEXT TIME IM IN THE GARAGE ILL SNEEK A MIRROR IN AND SNEEK A FACE SHOT HAHAHAHAHAH 😉

Spikey says:

I need to get some heated grips WINTER IS COMING!!

Infinitiwpb says:

John says:

I like motobikes I subd

hfl says:

This is unrelated but I've been looking for a helmet. What would you recommend for a grom?? That's going to be my starter bike since it seems fun as fuck. I was thinking of an icon variant but idk if it's worth it. What do you think? Pls help.
