How do you clean out the gas tank

This video is amazing. Real life saver. Your sharing of knowledge is saving pressure washers from the landfill, all over. Saved mine! I got mine out for the season, after not using it for about a year. It would not start at all. I cleaned the main jet and the fuel bowl but nothing else. Then it started but would stop when I pushed the choke lever in. So then I followed your video step-by-step to take the carburetor cleaning to the next level. Sure enough, it started up on the first pull and kept running after I pushed the choke lever in. I definitely would not have been able to figure it out without this video. The hardest part for me was finding wire small enough to clean out the tiny holes. Luckily I had some electrical wire laying around that worked. I imagine some people will have to go buy some wire that is small enough. I think it’s called stranded? Anyway, once I found that wire I was really happy to be able to use it to clean the tiny holes out. OK I just wanted to say thanks so much because you really saved my pressure washer. Take care

Also, I used the “B12 Chemtool” carb cleaner, and it works great. I guess I recommend it to those looking for a product to spray on the parts.

I replaced my carburetor with a brand new one, new spark plugs, and fuel line. Now I'm able to start it up and it will only run without cutting off in choke. Once I move it to Run, it will cut off if I don't have the trigger pulled.

Since it's a brand new carb, is there anything else that I need to do? Would you recommend me taking it apart and trying your steps even though it's new?

Dude I was cursing bc It's not quite as easy as you portray in the video especially for elderly people like me.. But I did exactly what you said thinking I was wasting my time bc mine looked really clean (only used once)…
But I pressed on and did what you said and that bad boy fired right up ….
Thanks dude..

I have a quick question I bought one for my mother every time I would get home to visit she had on the patio and probably it rained over it m, but I decided to give it a use for my home and when I tried to turn it on it didn’t start as much as I was pulling the string up. However, I thought by following your process of how to fix it then I thought it would work and I was like great followed every single step, furthermore, still didn’t work . So that’s why I’m asking you what the problem could be and how to solve it or should I just buy a new one ?

Mine only starts with starter fluid then shuts off sec later. Any help ? I soaked the carb in parts cleaner.and that little screw on carb won't come out.

What a lifesaver… I fought with mine (the same exact model) for over an hour last weekend. It was less than 2 years old and took multiple pulls to start, it would pop once and die. I was beyond frustrated. I have this exact pressure washer and found this video by Jeff.

After following his steps to clean the jets and carburetor (took me about 40 minutes). I put everything back together following his video… – tank already had gas, put the unit into Start mode, gas valve on… pulled the starter handle/cable and FIRED RIGHT UP on FIRST PULL… and ran perfectly the rest of the day. ABSOLUTELY AWESOME JOB "Jeff's Little Engine Service"

Thank you for this video. You were direct and easy to follow and gave good viewing angles, and you have a fantastic attitude. You're a natural teacher. My GCV190 pressure washer is running like new now. If I could give you 100 thumbs up, I would.
