Josh Studinski says:

what size wrench did you use? Also, what spark plugs?

Donovan Perry says:

Good job but also remember to put a little plug grease on the end of the
boot of the plug wires will keep keep spark flowing properly through the
system

Stu McConnell says:

was that 13-20 ft/ pounds or 13-20 in/lbs for the torque?

i can only imagine how easy it is to do it on a 4 cyl engine, on the v6
hondas its a royal pita to do can take over 25 minutes if youre fast imo

light74 says:

Great video. Change my spark plugs for the first time today. Followed the
instructions from the video and everything went perfectly. The only thing I
would suggest is that you list the tools you would need to complete the
task. Thanks again for the video.

Eugene Novak says:

not bad, but next time try not to use ratchet extention placing sparks back
unless its magnetic, if dropped then electrode is wrecked. And the most
important thing, NEVER DO THIS WITH BATTERY CONNECTED, very risky. all the
best!

Phillip Killion says:

Nice video, I’m glad you showed the whole thing, so many of these DIY auto
clips wind up leaving some important step on the cutting room floor.

Trav Williamz says:

what tools did you use??

angel soriano says:

Kennykid2002 says:

Plugs should be pregapped, if you buy from NGK.

tabatha weaver says:

i am changing the plugs in my 02 civic. on that first cyllinder (far right
f you’re facing it) I can’t get the ratchet back out once it’s torqued.
have to loosen it slightly, but after a while it causes a misfire so I know
it needs to be tighter, but don’t know how to do it. Is there a trick? has
anyone ever heard of this before?

Kennykid2002 says:

@SDTricker Plugs should be gapped 0.039-0.043 in. (1.0-1.1mm)

ViperDemon67 says:

You’re car isn’t a Vtec.

idkyetkid05 says:

I got a faint weird smell.. any idea? My friend said it was the anti sezie
burning.. Idk? :/

L. B. McKenzie says:

why do you need gloves ? good job though

Kennykid2002 says:

@ViperDemon67 Chu mean homie? Just cos the VTEC solonoid isnt in view dont
mean its not a VTEC And if u knew better, EX is a VTEC engine.

Thaton Egi says:

Have you tried changing your hearing-aid John? You’re saying that you can’t
hear the difference between this… 00:11 and this 11:28

SDTricker says:

Never mind I didn’t see the specification in the video, but do you know
what we are supposed to calibrate the spark plugs to?

JoeNFC2011 says:

this helped a lot. thank you!

conthemon says:

only caveat: change your spark plugs one at a time!

Flynt Fisher says:

@jw200 NGK is recommended for import cars. for a dodge, i’d go with
champion spark plugs

j kumar says:

the first coil you removed is cylinder 1? I need this information very
badly. Actually, i changed coil and spark plug and still engine light is
showing cylinder1 misfire. Any suggestion.

jazz2959 says:

Thanks man…just the job/no bs…….you rock

Kennykid2002 says:

@2008nixce NGK Iridiums

truth_seeker says:

It didnt make any difference.

FloridaPoolGuy says:

Great video, you have inspired me! Thanks again!

von44 says:

How do you gap the plugs?

missourioregon says:

what is the sparkplug gap setting?

Kennykid2002 says:

@markopolloyo No problem Air filter is pretty simple, You see that black
box above the valves where I’m working on the spark plugs? just take a 10mm
socket, or a phillips head screwdriver, remove all the screws and remove
the black box cover. Your filter is inside of it, simply remove it and
replace it, then close it up. I can’t really do a video since I don’t have
the stock intake anymore, I have a Short Ram Intake installed

Kennykid2002 says:

@stevenekin2 Maybe, Both are negligible at best

steven parrenas says:

what kind of paint did you use for the valve cover?

TheMajorPena says:

@Kennykid2002 thanks for the help man!
